Its not the least bit surprising that there were no comments on Gaza at the film festival. Saudi Arabia is aiming to become a party destination,not a beacon of free speech or democracy. I’m sure everyone present was well aware of, and taking care to toe the unwritten line!
The thing to note is that they don't allow their own women in these parties. So to them, they are making money and inviting investments through slutish countries.
Don’t know what to say about Saudi Arabia. All eyes were on them hoping some solid steps on the Gaza Genocide. Sadly, they didn’t just keep mum, but first held a musical concert, with Saudis dancing when the genocide was at it’s peak, and now this film festival. It is so disappointing, and disturbing for us , the Muslims.
They are the biggest sell-outs. Absolutely disgusted…

What did you expect? Saudis betrayed the Ottoman Empire with the Brits which is the reason the Muslimeen is in this mess in the first place. Plus, aren’t meadows now appearing in Saudi as well and there’s a Hadith that states when they start appearing judgement day is close. Don’t expect anything from them, they always put their nationality above their religion. Better to just raise your voice, and pray and get closer to Allah swt because things are going to get tougher and worse.

Also never expected that musical concerts, nach gana, film festivals would be held in SA, where we have the most holy sites associated with our prophets. They didn’t even bother maintaining their sanctity, trying to covert it into another Dubai. Letting women drive or having international sports events is a good thing but they are going to the other extreme.
Some people really need to stay in their limit. If we are fans of any actor doesn’t mean we became their owner. Wahaj can work with anyone. Yumna also can work with anyone. If we don’t want to watch any actor with any certain actress, we can simply ignored the project. But don’t have any right to troll or bash him. These brainless shippers really need to grow up.

My question is that, why in first place divorces should be discussed and worst thing is to give hints, it's such a sensitive snd personal matter, just bcz someone is public figure, it doesn't give us right to discuss their divorces. In one episode hassan was sharinh that there is one actor whose predictions are always accurate, he has predicted about sajal and ahad divorce. Zaruri nai hai jaisay nazar araha ho, waisay hi ho, unfollowing someone doesn't imply that divorce is imminent in their family.

As a die hard Yumhaj fan myself i condemn those so called useless & mindless people who claim to be yumhaj fans. We dont need to take those so called fans seriously. All the time saying mean things to other actors and i think they r doing it purposely to create misunderstandings between other fandoms. Clearly they are not real fans. Red Sea Festival: I agree with Aamna that someone should havd talked about Palestine on this platform. But I would not be surprised if the organisers would have asked them not to bring up this topic. Saudis can do it very conveniently. It's easy to talk about Palestine in London than it is in Saudi Arabia.
Nevertheless it's sad and disappointing to see people not talking about it when they can very much use their privilege for it.

After watching pictures from Red Sea film festival, I think there no bigger representation than Humayun Saeed and Mahira Khan from our country. I feel Humayun Saeed is bigger star than Fawad Khan because he's doing so much for the industry and also internationally, representing Pakistan everywhere, whereas we rarely see Fawad Khan representing Pakistan that much, it can be unpopular opinion and I respect if anyone differs with me.

I really appreciate the pairing of wahaj and maya. I don't know why people so obsessed about wahaj and yumna. Like it's ok, I was also a fun of that pair but now move on. It is not always gonna be wahaj and yumna.
Yumna is great with nearly all the actors she paired with! I can’t say the same for Wahaj as up to the current episodes Mein with Ayeza is lacklustre !He was great with Maya in JBG and they also have a very deep friendship which makes it easier to perform! Yumna and Wahaj created a chemistry in DNUTN not having been friends before and they took it to a new level in Tere bin
, yes people need to move on from the Yumna Wahaj paring and I’m sure it’s a huge pressure upon them to recreate the level they attained for TB! Yumna will be seen with Humayun Saeed,and frankly I still prefer her with AAA, as in Yeh Raha Dil and Parizaad! Wahaj and Maya have a special bond and I’m sure they’ll translate that into something special in this drama! Ultimately it’s the script and how it’s handled which gives success!

I just started watching Alif but something was missing so I went back to watch all your alif reviews! It was 4 years back and there is quite a difference in the reviews. Your reviews have become very refine and better articulated. Those were such great days for drama Alif, MPTH, EDW, YMD now days were are in slump. The ratio of good over bad is 1:4 lol
The two couples divorcing are Hina Altaf and Agha Ali and secondly Sana Javed and Umair Jaswal. Third I have no idea and I won’t make guesses. What’s sad is these two couples did simple Nikkahs, were the most private about their relationships before marriage and didn’t flaunt their marriage after it either. They kept their marriage respectful in the public - no professional photoshoots or awkward cringe stuff online. Yet, both marriages have failed! We truly never know what goes on behind closed doors. And Pakistanis used to praise them for how they handled their marriage, now same Pakistanis will abuse them once it’s announced they’re divorced!

But I think the real deal where the root of the problem lies is whenever they sense that there could be a pairing of either wahaj or yumna that could become popular to some extent, they become worried and lash out. They have no problem with hareem and wahaj with 22 qadam cause hareem is still very underrated and doesn’t have the same stature as yumna does in the industry. But when wahaj works with hania or ayeza, they start making negative comments cause ayeza and hania are both huge stars on their own and the projects they do with wahaj might become very popular if the script is good (sadly both the script for mein and mpht were not). Similarly, they don’t mind yumna working with usama cause he’s still underrated, but the moment #ahna comes into the picture, they keep trying to prove that yumhaj is superior🤷🏻♀️ honestly yumhaj is iconic in their own way, and no one needs to prove it all the time . I have been through a lot and felt extremely depressed, but after listening to him, I got out of the dark phase. Mt perspective on life changed. May Allah bring ease for you n everyone suffering from depression.

They were amazing on screen and the team they’ve opted to work with will surely bring a well executed project to the table. They definitely don’t deserve this unnecessary hate! Idk why people are assuming that just because wahaj is doing this project, he will not be a part of tere bin 2. I strongly believe that he will probably work on both side by side, so why are fans so upset? Each can choose to watch the project they’re personally interested in and ignore the other. My honest opinion about Wahaj's stardom
Everybody saying he is the new superstar of Pakistan. But thats absolutely not true. He went through his viral era when tb was airing. That doesn't make him a star yet. He is still relying on his numerous chemistries. If he was a star now, the comment box under maya wahaj drama announcement wouldn't have look like that.
Right now that guy need a break from this overexposure.
Wahaj ko chahiye Tere Bin 2 na kare. Tere Bin 2 ki success ka raaz Yumna thi. Yumna har actor ke saath chemistry bana sakti hai. Let some other actor play the lead against Yumna in Tere Bin 2.

I agree that Wahaj should work with other actresses and may be Maya is an OK actor BUT this may be a very good writing and excellent direction which Maya may spoil because her acting is not at par!!! We all know that Yumna is the best and not only that BUT brings out the BEST in opposite actor too. I think we will see this in Nayab about Osama Khan and previously about Ahmed Ali Akbar who has worked with other actresses too but has not clicked as much. Similarly who has seen Wahaj at his best other than with Yumna. He has worked with Maya too and I saw very passive performance of Maya in Woh Jo Bicharr gaye !! anyone would have played Maya's role that she acted in that play. So I feel they will need a lot of good luck to make it successful!!
Yumna can make a small character and role look so important and unique like in Ishq zahe naseeb. Now we have become more conscious about international success so the best combinations will have bigger chances of success and the power couple may have made stronger impact. Lets see how it goes!!
I really want to see Hamza Abbasi opposite Yumna in Khalil sahib's next drama which he is writing and directing, next in line after Gentleman and Sun mere dil ( I heard he has finalized Yumna but male star is yet to be decided!). You two please let us know what is the news about that project!!!
Imagining Yumna and Hamza Abbasi, I feel they may create magical chemistry too, as both are at the TOP of their ranks!! Yumna reminds me of Khalida Riyasat and even better because of the way more versatile characters she has played and proven herself the best in all roles. Of course she is living in current fast paced world with tons of work happening and she is very smart and choosy to make herself even more successful masha Allah. Khalida Riyasat only had PTV and whatever limited work and options she had but was still the best of her times like Yumna !!!
Sun Mere Dil : Excited for this drama. Maya Wahaj make a very good pair on screen, plus the writer director duo has a proven credible body of work. So likely to be a blockbuster project with 7th sky production value supporting it.
The bashing can be ignored. Some thousand ppl dont dictate what crores of people watch. Yumna Wahaj both can and should work with other actors. Btw seems to me that Wahaj may not be in TB2. This announcement just a few days before Season 2 announcement may be to appease Wahaj fans beforehand . Wahaj working with the same production house b2b where the shooting is likely to be at the same time seems doubtful. Ahmed may be in TB2. This sudden discussion about Ahmed and Yumna everywhere maybe the reason.

Also, do you really think kadwani would take the risk of not casting yumhaj in tere bin? People watched it only cause of them. I think this Ahmed rumour is just that- a mere rumour. He doesn’t usually do massy projects like tere bin so I’ll be very surprised if he’s in it. But idk why people are already like kadwani did bewafai with us even before Dec 29th 🙏like seriously at least wait for the announcement before jumping to conclusions.
There’s no way Abdullah K would sign Wahaj for another project in place of TB…if Wahaj did sign this project with AK then he definitely is part of TB2 as well…

Honestly speaking, amna, i think that if sun mere dil would have been the sequel of tere bin, Abdullah kadwani would have mentioned it in his post. There is no sign of it, plus the post was unveiled like 10 days before, so probably it is not the sequel anyway. I don't think that tere bin makers will put their popularity at stake by choosing maya instead of yumna.

For the Sun Mere dil drama, very excited to see Wahaj and Maya together. But having said that, it cannot be tere bin part two. To me it is an independent drama. If I am not mistaken, Aamna also said in an earlier episode that tere bin is because of Wahaj and Yumna and if they are not playing the main lead we should not be calling it Tere Bin part two . I have observed that Aamna and Hassan deviate from their statements a lot . I have seen them say one thing and then completely turn 360 degree from that few weeks after. Especially Amnas bias is evident while Hassan tries to hold on to his good boy image.

To start with repeating a jodi in a movie is entirely different from repeating a jodi in a drama. Then srk and Kajol never came with back to back projects and also had successful movies with others as well. Nobody went around hating on srk or kajol's other co-stars.

Most of her films in which she worked with other heroes weren't as much successful except few ones like Fanaa. While Srk managed to create chemistry with Madhuri, Preity and many other heroines
@@Hassan-sn3eg go back to the 90s and Kajol had a lot of hit movies under her belt. She started working very less in the 2000s and most of her works were either with srk or her husband Ajay with whom she has negative chemistry. Kajol in general did very less typical romantic bwood movies compared to her contemporaries and the romantic movies she did were mostly with srk. On the contrary juhi and Madhuri did a lot more romantic movies so they have other successful pairing than srk like salman, aamir, Anil Kapoor etc.
