    Outstanding! I can’t believe how easily that buggy crawled out of the first bowl of the Escalator and didn’t tip back toward the passenger rear!!!

    What tire pressure do these guys run, if they don’t have bead locks? Do they set the compression clickers soft for compliance, or stiff for rollover resistance?

    • @SlikRokProductions
      @SlikRokProductions  Před 3 lety

      Non beadlock we typically run 6-8psi depending on tire. Also we set clickers to soft for most articulation

      +SlikRok Prod. Mainly Superstition Mountain OHV in the Imperial Valley. It has desert, sand, rock crawling, and dirt canyon crawling. I'm definitely going to make it to Moab sometime!

      +glamisfan777 That's out in California correct? That looks like some fun riding to! Moab is a blast and you for sure need to get there and do some riding!

    • @glamisfan777
      @glamisfan777 Před 8 lety +1

      +SlikRok Prod. Yup. Cali. Superstition is just south of Ocotillo Wells. I'm 30 minutes from Glamis, so I do a little riding there too!

      +glamisfan777 Oh man that is awesome, one day I would like to get out to Glamis! Is it as fun as people say it is?

    Hey guys, I just bought a Razr that I guess was set up for rock Crawling. I noticed that it's not very fast and the pst owner is saying it's because of the wheel hubs that are after market? Does that make any sense?

    What tires do you guys roll with?

    • @SlikRokProductions
      @SlikRokProductions  Před 5 lety

      We run a bunch of different tires depending on terrain. Do you have a terrain in mind or just an all around tire?

    What's the squealing sound on the white and orange one? I have the same sound coming out of my rzr. Thought it was the belt, but it does it with a new belt too.

      37042mike I went back and watched the whole video and I am not sure what you are referring to. Would you put in the time of the video where you hear it?

    • @37042mike
      @37042mike Před 7 lety +1

      SlikRok Productions it's in the first few seconds with the orange one... Then the next clip of the white one. Right when he let's off the gas it makes a high pitched noise.

    • @SlikRokProductions
      @SlikRokProductions  Před 7 lety +1

      Hey I listened to it over and over and what I think you are hearing is just clutch whine. To my knowledge most do it. I will ask around but I have never noticed it before.

    • @37042mike
      @37042mike Před 7 lety +1

      SlikRok Productions thanks for looking into it. I can't find anything that refers to it anywhere. Just wondering if I should do something about it or if it's fine.

    • @SlikRokProductions
      @SlikRokProductions  Před 7 lety

      37042mike I will do a little more research, but I wouldn't Worry to much about it. Seems pretty common.

    Great video! I'm planning a guys trip out to Moab. Are a lot of the trails together (go from one to the next) or do you have to really have your trip/trails planned out?

    • @SlikRokProductions
      @SlikRokProductions  Před 8 lety +1

      Thanks man really appreciate that! Yes a lot of trials you can go from one to the next and even more options if your rigs are street legal! If not, a ton of trails are within 10-15 minutes of each other!

    • @gravellesimon
      @gravellesimon Před 8 lety +1

      +SlikRok Prod. Thanks for the quick reply. Good to know. Our quads won't be street legal so I should try to find some trails that just branch out to one another?

      +gravellesimon Hells revenge and fins and things are very close together, poison spider gold bar rim, and rusty nail are all close to one another, thenMoab rim, Pritchett canyon, cliff hanger, Kane creek are all close to each other. Hope that helps!

    Rzs have diff locks? Always locked?

    • @SlikRokProductions
      @SlikRokProductions  Před 8 lety

      Not a locker, a spool connects the left and right axles together there is no locking or unlocking. So yes the Rzr has locked/spooled diffs front and rear, giving you true 4wd (positive traction) when its needed. hope that answers your question!

    • @Digital_Dairy
      @Digital_Dairy Před 8 lety +1

      +SlikRok Prod. It does. So basically spooled. Suppose you dont need open diffs or 2wd to manuver such short wheelbase rigs.

    • @SlikRokProductions
      @SlikRokProductions  Před 8 lety

      Yes exactly, They do have 2wd as well, with a switch to engage or disengage the 4wd. Sorry if you already knew that.

    I'm sure I'll get beat like a guberment mule for this comment but I'm saying it anyway....myself having ridden atvs(3 and 4 wheels) to dirt bikes to dual sports and now RZRS and trail riding the Ozark mtns for over 30 years while logging thousands of miles of trails doing it... going 2.5 miles an hour all day and crossing large obstacles in my rzr just isn't that appealing. I hope the scenery is worth it.

      I respect that, I thought the same thing till I went to Moab for the first time and now I am addicted and enjoy this technical style of riding over anything else! Don't knock it till you try it man! Don't get me wrong I love flying down a trail and over sand dunes as well! Thanks for watching man!

      @GundayFunday Před 7 lety +3

      I feel the same way. I love flying across the sand but there is something very special about Moab. The scenery is amazing and the technical side rock crawling is amazing. Anyone can drive fast on the dunes but that cannot be said for driving in Moab.
