As Madonna’s world wide Celebration Tour kicks off, we could think of no one better than Niki and Donna too sit down with to chat about the full anthology of their careers on the road and recording with Madonna in many countries, for many tours, on many songs, throughout many decades. OMG!!! Thank you sooooo much for doing these videos. It's reminding me not only that I grew up with Madonna, I grew up with Niki and Donna too! And there's so much to relish in how these two strong beautiful wonderful women treat each other, how they regard the Diva, and how much light of their own they have shared with the world. Madonna was as lucky to have them as they were to have her....

December 2023 I contracted RSV and it nearly killed me 4 different times. It was a HUGE wake up call for me and reminded me what was and IS the most important thing in life. To love and be loved, to cherish your loved ones as tomorrow is NEVER promised to us. To not be negative and to just be thankful for the chance to recover and just breathe once again. I totally get where Madonna is coming from and why this tour is so important to her and her fans. God bless her. and God bless us!

I Love These 2 talented ladies, I fell in love with them that 1st VMA when Madonna brought them out. I owe Madonna the plus years she gave me. If it hadn't been for her I would have been long gone. For that I will always be thankful and grateful to her. I love her, deeply. Madonna is having fun. I saw her at Barclay and recently in Philly and let me tell you honey... Both times the place was Vibrating. This production of music, theater, art installation and one woman show, It is like no other. A joyous and uplifting event. She is The Queen.

Madonna would never become addicted to drugs or opiods. It's not in her nature. She is addicted to work and pushing herself to the limit. I have no doubt she got sick, but being as stubborn as she is she kept plowing through with rehearsals telling herself that there is a show to do, ignoring the signs her body was screaming at her, and it developed into a near death bodily infection. Sepsis pretty much. Something like that would knock most people on their asses for a year or more. The fact that she is touring and still recovering is a testament to her insane will. I'm sure she has her team and doctors on hand. She hasn't missed a show yet. I'd be worried if she looked worn down and out of it as the tour goes on, but instead watching footage it's obvious she is getting healthier and stronger. Her dancing is becoming more on point. She's singing better. She's nowhere near as "clunky" as she was at the start of the tour. She's a warrior. A stubborn ass warrior that better listen to her body from here on out!!! But a warrior none the less.
Madonna's taken sleeping pills since the 80s. No idea if she's addicted to them but she's very likely reliant on them. The buttock implants were a disaster for her body. An older woman who'd always been very petite suddenly having to carry around a huge amount of extra weight was always a bad idea, to the point that I'm surprised a doctor couldn't talk her out of it. And lo and behold, she started to experience issues on the Madame X tour which ultimately resulted in her needing hip surgery.
And it's moments like this, when people are in extreme pain and their mobility is highly compromised, that they can end up becoming addicted to opioids just to feel normal again. Madonna isn't someone who's used to just sitting around so she may have justified opioid use by thinking it enabled her to get on with her life. That's the easy bit. Being able to stop is where it gets far more complicated.
I and many other fans noticed that her behaviour noticeably changed a few years ago. The way her famous, glacial, determined stare, has been replaced with a rather distant, sad look, as if she's not long stopped crying. Her speech pattern is different, noticeably slower, and even the content of what she's saying which often seems a bit 'off'.
I'm not claiming I know that she's (been) an addict, but there's been enough signs there for long enough, to at least justify the rumours, whether they contain any truth or not.

Just last night, Niki and Donna posted they were in the audience of Madonna’s NYC Celebration tour singing along to rain. Madonna didn’t acknowledge them nor ask them up on stage. this is unforgivable ! As a fan of Madonna since 1983 and love these gals … let’s face it Niki & Donna made Madonna sound better. I’m realizing Madonna just isn’t naturally a nice person.
How could she even do anything off script the music and vocals are all pre recorded. With a live band at least she could stop. I hope next tour she goes back to having live music on stage
this is why I wonder if they are still friends, because watching these clips they make it sound like they haven't hung out with her in a really long time, but I had people saying they are still friends, but why are there no recent pictures of them together? Why do they always talk like they haven't hung out with her in over 10 years at least?
