This song is like a journey..it takes you to so many places, distant places, full of beauty and melancholy. A song about true love, loss, devotion. Indeed the lyrical video fits perfectly with the song, which is, as you said, like a symphony, a metal symphony. This song has everything, is heavy, emotional, tender, wonderful solos. Insomnium has something many heavy metal bands are lacking, it has soul. Thank you for reacting to one of my favourite songs, great reaction, as always :-)

Insomnium is one of the very best metal bands from Finland - all their songs are so amazing

Insomnium is the band I've listened to more than any other over the last couple months. I love their entire discography. I wish I had discovered them years ago.

Guess that's the duality of music. Or entertainment as a whole. You want new amazing experiences, at the same time you wish you could've always enjoyed said experiences.

Me I'm more into their album's from Shadows Of the Dying Sun. Coincidently that's when Markus Vanhala joined them. No disrespect to Ville Vanni.

while i’m waiting for the last track from their upcoming EP 'Argent Moon' which will be released on September 17th, watching your insomnium reaction videos makes me so happy. i really enjoyed this ‘9 minutes of pure beauty’ reaction video. thank you! :)

Insomnium's work is straight up beautiful. It's just so soothing. I often listen to Insomnium when going to bed. I can fall asleep to any music as long as I enjoy it, but Insomnium truly hits the spot. I put on "Across the Dark" and I sleep like a baby. Might seem like an unimpressive album at surface, but damn is it smooth. "Soaring" is the word I'd describe it by. If you ever plan on doing whole album reactions it's a prime candidate.
