Canadian citizens can work in the USA on TN under NAFTA. I am working for a US company in Vancouver and in San Francisco. Also, We have free medical in Canada. My friends who went to USA in the same year are still on H1B and fighting for green card in the US. Also, More Canadian citizens on TN in the USA are getting green card than H1B holders because green card issuance is unlimited for Canadian citizens.

If u get a scholarship and an assistantship they do not ask for the bank statements most of the times, but it's better to take incase if they ask. You have to apply after u get selected and after the university sends u the I 20 form.

They don't ask for financial statements if u have a scholarship and an assistantship, but it's better to take those incase if they ask.
