This vocally challenging song proves to be to much even for many good professional singers.
Carrie is in complete command here. Her breath control is incredible. The range is there of course, but the breath control it takes to sing this song properly is more rare. No vocal tricks. She sings it the hard way; the right way. Very impressive.

She's a much better singer now than she was the first time. Her voice is matured and she has a better range particularly on the low notes.
I honestly loved the first version and I'm a little disappointed it's not available on Spotify (at least here in Canada). This one is good too, but I think I preferred the first.

They remind you about the true meaning of Christmas before all the mad rush to buy gifts, decorate, cook, etc. You can relax, and really enjoy the songs and appreciate them for the meaningful words and the soft, relaxing music.
