Attacking the uphills is how you get your legs so fatigued they won't be able to recover for the next day. Based on my own (limited) touring experience I would give the exact opposite advice, take it easy on the uphills and walk if it gets too steep, save you legs for the days ahead.

@@ominousplatypus380 This is just our gravel experience 😁 at the beginning of the trip my friend did this - he was exhausted because he couldn’t keep the cadence up and had to push really hard on the pedals because he slowed down too much. If you keep up the cadence it is much easier and you can always rest after the ascent! But I agree, if it is too steep, you can always walk 💪 More importantly on long trips, take the pace you can keep up until the end of the world 😎
great video, surprised you only have 100 subs. also did you guys not bring a water filter? i always carry one its a life saver and saves time and weight with stopping in town for water.
one thing at 3:30 id make the music quieter so you can hear the narration better. again great watch wish your channel the best

@@Sandy-yr7ud thank you so much for your kind words! Finland has one of the cleanest tap water in the world and we are so used to it that we figured we’d just fill up anytime and anywhere! Bringing a water filter with us was in the talks, but it got scrapped from the packing list.. 😂 in hindsight I guess it would be a good addition 👍 Also thanks for the feedback, one of my first voiceover-based videos, I’ll keep on getting better 🫶
