Recently found these videos and I would like to say thank you for being such an awesome neighbor, and thank you for helping those fish. Wish I had neighbors like you.
Nice work! Prazi is great and you canât overdo it which makes it great! Itâs not cheap so youâre 100% right on having the gallons correct before treating. Youâve done good work! Appreciate you taking care of themâŠ.
I'm so glad you are doing this for the fish. Fish seem to be an animal that a lot of people see as disposable, which is sad they are such wonderful creatures! â€
having ponds even small ones teaches more than a little class section in education.. flukes huge topic and with flooding areas , well water quality is a skill both for fresh water fish and humans. salt water fish oceans bit more to learn from.. and a pond does not have to be neglected to have flukes ! it is a natural process that indicated problems ~ and diligent observation. thank you for posting..
I love what youâve done with that pond with the tools you have, itâs nice to know people care these days! Iâll keep my fingers crossed that when the house sells maybe someday you could do a new pond for the new owners. Wouldnât that be great! The orange koi are a nice color!
This video really shows that a fish pond is a real commitment . It requires constant maintenance and can be an expense . There are Koi rescue groups that will help with relocating . It appears that the fish have been reproducing and are in general good condition . The owner actually had a very nice set up ,but it got to much for him to keep up . This video also demonstrates how to maintain a fish pond very nicely . Thank you for great video
great work in my experience a nice letter reaching out to the people watching the house would most likely allow you to re-home the fish and take the stress off them since it isn't there thing.
Top bloke Adam I take my hat off to you mateđ. If the home owner donât want them anymore and wants re home some i have room in my 1500 gallon pond mate đ
I'm just seeing your channel. Nice job! I'm glad your loving your neighbor as you would yourself. Mark Chapter 12 verses 28-33. Yes your dead neighbor could no longer care for his pets and you have done what you would have wanted if it was you!
The pond looks great now that the filter is working properly. Hopefully the new owners of the house will appreciate the koi and keep and look after them as there are some lovely koi in there.
You're a good lad Adam, a credit to the koi hobby. Hope any new owners of the pond take care of the fishes and appreciate your efforts! Keep the videos coming, look forward to your weekly updates
Another great video, thank you helping the fishes. Can I suggest you donât skip filming filter cleaning ? Itâs like pimple popping videos - Iâm sure your viewers enjoy the whole process itâs quite satisfying to see a filter go from mucky and gross to clean and efficient. At least it is for me. đ
I've had a a small pond since 2010. Half the fun is trying to figure out how to fix problems. I got round the ammonia problems by routing the outflow from the filtration system through a bed of marginal plants. Native Iris are easy and very efficient. The set up in the video would easilly convert to that system. But I realise that this is not your pond and your care may only be on a temporary basis.
I just recently used formaldehyde not sure how effective it is against parasites yet but its helped out with my algae problems đđ another top video thanks
The man in heaven has been complaining to god saying âlook at the state my pond is inâ and god said âdonât worry I placed a pond angel near your pond to clean this upâ youâre the pond angel.
Appreciate what your doing fair play to you. But if this was a neglected puppy or cat you would of called the RSPCA. They would remove them and find them a home where they are looked after.
I was going to say the same thing. Why not call the RSPCA to rehome the fish. I don't know anything about koi, but I have a feeling that they are bored out of their minds in that little pond. It looks too small for all of them. Please call the animal rescue, don't let them live like that any longer.
What actually are Flukes? I'm guessing some kind of tick-like thing that pond fish suffer from? Edit: Aww, well I hope the fish are alright, being bitten by those things obviously can't be any fun.
There are also other flukes that can affect humans when ingested contaminated food or water. Also praziquantel was the best treatment for these type of parasite as far as I remember on our parasitology class
You can only see fish flukes with a microscope. There are other types of flukes that you CAN see with the human eye. An example being Andreas Brehme's goal for West Germany against England in 1990 World Cup Semi Final.
Beautiful job fish are definitely happier Since you did the treatment wonât that kill all the worms and natural food they can get Are you feeding them as well
Itâs good that.you are able to help out fella and as said I nice little mini series too boot. Now the weather has improved so as a fluke problem, I test waters each week and all the parameters are well within but I have had a blanket weed issue from the tap water being 2 mg/l of phosphate, this has led me to dose resolve twice to start to lower my phosphate level and now have flukes đ so in answer to your question I am on second dose of flukasol and like you have observed the fish initially start to liven up. Great job Adam BR Phil
Really interesting video thank you! Maybe you could set up patreon or kofi pages for donations so you can raise money which is an option as you're teaching people and help with your costs, especially as this is a job for free!!
Huge respect to you Adam, really good experienced about Praziquantel too. I'm little worried about the circulation, because it's to near about the water pump in to and the filter pipe out, don't know if pump power cable just max.
If it kills off tapeworms, it might kill off the rest of the worms in it too, so I'd imagine they would need more regular feeding? Anyway, great job, I hope you do keep us updated on them whenever you can, I like this rescue project of yours.
it certainly woke the fluke up lol i tend to use and prefer to use FX1 against fluke as i find it a lot easier in the mixing of it plus iv a drum on the system once again good video Adam
You've done wonders for those fish, perhaps hoover the bottom to shift the rest of the crap, obviously your only helping out, itl just prolong the life of the fish now
Have a question was there an aerator or irrigation I noticed when I put one in my pond the quality of water was absolutely amazing but it looks absolutely awesome he did a great job saving those little guys
can ytou make this a whole show with all the first episode to the last one. love to see the total show and what happened to the fish at the end. thank you
Any reviews on this products yet (i can't find any on the web). It's around ÂŁ60 so more expensive than Learnex Pro and treats 25000litres vs 20,000 for learnex. So marginally more expensive given that it treats more litrage. But it's an expensive process and the key thing is to nail the issue.

Adam, you are a diamond ! Stay safe and well my friend.
What on earth have the fish been eating while the pond was in such a state
Worms, lots of worms
Dirt no joke that's what they eat mud basically that's why people don't eat cod and koi fish
Algae and small amounts of plant life
And as the other dude said mud and worms
@@anonymousf.a.p7940 people eat cod all of the time.
@@anonymousf.a.p7940 cod is very different from koi, I mean itâs a salt water fish. Do you mean carp?
