Ralph Lauren introduced his new Polo collection for women on the runway by surprising everyone and starting off the show with 25 looks from the new line before showing the Ralph Lauren collection. The polo line featured serape blanket coats and distressed leather bomber jackets and athletic outerwear in bright acid-colored tones. The Ralph Lauren collection featured a bevy of red carpet-worthy elegant gowns, cashmere capes and ponchos in delicate shades of pastels.

Ralph Lauren is always one of my favorite shows. I like the trademark western motifs and hats for the young ladies. And the full-out understated elegance of eveningwear.
There are so many outfits in this collection that are breath taking. Love the leather pants, tall leather boots, all of the handbags (yummy), the pastel pinks, lilacs, stone grey. The selection of colors and classic lines will go with may different outfits, from morning to evening. A++++

To be honest, although I loved every bit of clothing, I do think the choice for the evening wear models was a bit.... Off. They are beautiful girls, but I wish they had chosen curvier models, as I think the necklines of the dresses would have been better accentuated.

Which look is your favorite?
Many of them. Like the dresses over leggings and big heavy shoes. I like the dresses, but these colors are a bit too pale for me. I like the slick and shiny fabric - grey, pale purple. I just would pick something couple of tones darker.
