I like the 2 story lots of windows 😍😍 the extra space becomes much needed when the family gets bigger kids need there own common space .
In TX, when the 2nd floor has open space it's usually meant to be a game area (some with an attached media room, some with a wet bar). Also, the owner's suite/master bedroom is usually on the 1st floor. For lighting, avoid North facing homes as they will not get sunlight year round (that can be a good thing for summer months depending on your preference).
Wow, I'm super late. I didn't realize you guys moved down here. But you see, everything is bigger in Texas! Coming from the northeast as well, you see the difference in homes and how modern and spacious they are. Welcome to Texas

You will need a play room for future kids. Guest room, office, his and her closets, etc.
I love how Brent gets genuinely excited over looking at homes and the features.
This gave me all the flashbacks to when my husband & kids went searching for our dream home. We built from the ground up, so we had a different process, but the excitement was all the same. We started off just looking at homes just like y’all & gradually moved towards the building process. 😊I loved all of these homes!
I agree with feeling like there’s lots of unused space in 2 story homes! For safety reasons we don’t like the idea of the owners suite on the first floor and the kids rooms on the second floor, especially while kids are little. We’d have a hard time getting our toddler to go to sleep that far away without being scared

Hello 👋🏽 cousins Brent and Mir. You guys are still young but that will change as long as the Lord allows you to live. When I moved to my first apartment in DFW area I was 33. It was a 2nd floor unit I wasn't thrilled but it only had one staircase to get to my front door other units had two staircases. I have purchased two homes 🏡 and both have been 1 story single family homes 🏡 right up my alley. As we age it will become more difficult on the joints to climb stairs it's just a given. Mir, I return my amazon purchases to Kohl's department store just FYI

I use fresh salmon to make tuna salad. I cook the salmon in my air fryer then make it like i make tuna. So good

I luvvvvv the second house omg that front bedroom can be for guest with that bathroom it's perfect.. The light coming in the living room omg, the kitchen is for most womens dream,I luv it... Your master bedroom with all that light, the bath 😮😮 His and hers sink and a seperate vanity... the backyard I have no words, it's the bomb.. I'm sorry but I have 2 children (the grown now lol) but there's no such thing as "dead space" you can have "Her space/Lady lair" and his space "Man cave" it's sweet to have a separate play rooms for the kids as well so their bedroom won't be a mess lol and honestly if there's toys are in their room 👀 in the night time while y'all sleeping they start playing 😂 I say house #2.. I wouldn't say dead space. I would say it is entertainment space for you and Brenton + your friends and for your children (and thwir xousins and friends). You can also invest in some workout equipment and have an in-hone gym space! The first three homes you all can grow into.
