Absolutely beautiful and great that it’s been documented. Ornette was a supreme soul that was sent to earth to deliver a message, and what beautiful message he delivered. Thank you 🙏🏿

Thanks for uploading. I wasn’t familiar with this album. I love Ornette on trumpet. Could have fooled me, he sounds like Don Cherry. Love this trio with Izenzon and the irrepressible Charles Moffet.
I understand your point of view on his trumpet playing - there's something that can remind Cherry... nevertheless there are also great differences: the tone, the complete absence of vibrato...the phrasing, too - what they share is the sensation of fragility... I had the pleasure to hearing both on trumpet at the same time... wonderful experience. I complain I haven't a recording of it.
I remember first hearing Ornette on BBC radio Jazz progràmme broadcast every saturday early evening. The DJ was was known to jazz fans well respected he asked the question to his lasteners. Listen to this do you think its Jazz? This album sounds great so raw and uninhibited.
Izenzon changed everything about the bass. It is beyond my comprehension why no one seems to remember him.
Sadly Izenzon died way too soon in the 70s after he left music, definitely a major figure, the Trio was Ornette's best ensemble
@@rhythmking10 Maybe the quartet with both Izenzon and Haden was even better....

Love this trio. From the Town Hall concert through The Golden Circle and now hearing this. Thanks for posting this.

Its not Jazz , Its just music
Track two sounds like an early version of "Faithful" from "The Empty Foxhole."
czcams.com/video/6YUeFZtBrcY/video.html mmm just first two notes... I wouldn't say it's the same piece
