Any types that are unique, that you would recommend (besides the standard braid) one could do on oneself?

My daughter is mixed her hair is beautiful and tight curls almost like dominican texture hair. Its a bit on the dry side and she does like it straight sometimes i am an ex hairdresser and i can it straight but its no silky-smooth and flowy do you know of a product i could use to make it flowy and smooth
+Pink pigi and blue zombie gaming I would start by doing a moisturizing deep conditioning treatment. I love using a small amount of rusks deepshine oil when straightening hair as well.
