Veronica Wheeler really I’m in the junior ncaa and I got two shirts for the whole season a long sleeve and short sleeve with a sweater and training shoes and spikes. 🤣 like that was more than I was expecting from my community college for running .

Dominic Sumner😂😂😂 Oregons not even known for their football. Oregon has only been good at football the last ten years. Oregon is known for the track and field team (more then 30 national titles btw) so of course the track stars get fancy clothes

What if you can’t run in nike? I cannot run in Nikes AT ALL, they don’t make a decent shoe for over pronation. Are you guys obligated to run in those for all practices or can you purchase your own shoes for training? I assume for races you’re always in Nike. I’ve always wondered this. All of my running club runs in basically anything but Nike so I find it interesting that the entire Oregon xc and track team is able to run in Nike without injuries.
Michaela Leach, I ran for Oregon and I can't run in Nikes because they dont have enough cushion, so I bought my own training and racing shoes and wore the free Nikes for just casual wear/school.
Going to LSU for track next year and let me say Oregon gets the coolest shit 😂

Nice gear!! Recreational runner here and I’ve done about 10 half marathons and 3 fulls. In medical school so I don’t have as much time for running as I’d like! I was just wondering what you thought of wearing Nike shoes? Doesn’t anyone have a preference for a different company? I had so many troubles with posterior tibial tendinitis before I was fit for Brookes Adrenaline and I don’t know what I’d do if I couldn’t wear them! Don’t get me wrong, definitely a Nike fan! But I didn’t know they were a top choice for running
Traci Provins I think most college sports teams are "sponsored" by certain brands, I think our school is sponsored by Nike too. I'm also just a recreational runner but I prefer New Balance... I feel like Nikes don't fit my feet well
Asics, new balance, saucony, brooks and mizuno are going to be your top brands because they offer a wider variety of structures and cushioning options. Nike nowadays is more of a lifestyle brand but the few decent running shoes they have are generally very neutral and have a lower mileage than most other good running brands. They also run more narrow than most brands. The majority of runners I see in my store overpronate so Nike’s aren’t going to cut it. When you start getting semi serious about running and going to 10k’s half and full marathons you really don’t see a lot of Nike or adidas. Personally I’ve been a huge fan of the asics gel kayano series for over 10 years. They offer a moderate structure and tons of cushion and always fit my foot well. Of course not everyone has the same needs and loves what I love but I’m very loyal to that shoe.
I also ran for Oregon and we were given a certain number of free Nikes each year, but I can't run in Nikes because they dont have enough cushion, so I'd just wear the Nikes as casual shoes to school and buy my own running shoes in a different brand.
Lucky! The only thing I'm getting is a team sweatshirt. Anyway, love your videos💕💕💕
