every guinea pig owner knows the struggle of cleaning the cages if your guinea pigs are messy lol but its worth it because they’re so cute :D
We have 2 male Guinea pigs and they are so messy! And poop everywhere! Between the variety of their diets and the time it takes to clean their cages? They definitely require lots of time and attention..

You can take the front piece off of the wheel in Dale's cage so it's easier to clean!

A tip for cleaning Dale's wheel! I have the same wheel and you can take it off the stand and take it apart to clean each piece individually if it gets extra dirty.
I have two ferrets I feel ya on the cleaning lol. I’m gonna offer ya a cleaning helper. For your tub use dawn and vinegar in a dish soap wand. It’ll break down the soap buildup and clean the tub from the pet germs. Your pets are beautiful and are so lucky to have a good mama.

For your crested gecko, I recommend a bioactive enclosure. You put isopods and springtales in there and they eat the poop.
I absolutely love these types of vlogs! A tip for Kevin's cage is putting a litter box under the hay bag, so it would catch all the hay he pulls out.

I’m always cleaning my gecko tank. It’s relatively easy since I use paper towels for the substrate. I’ll often wipe the bottom of the tank with wet tissue. I do it a couple times weekly.

Personally I love watching my 3 Guinea pigs explore when I clean there cage! I love hearing the little noises they make while exploring and going through tunnels!
Thank you so much for sharing! I do the same when I wash my rats' fleece, but I do it on a warm cycle with an extra rinse to make sure there isn't any soap left. I used to do cool water, but I've found that warm works better for me and my girls. So glad to hear the babies are feeling better

I have 3 male guinea pigs and I put news paper to protect the wood and on top of the newspaper I put hey and straw and I find that work better then blankets for my pigs btw mine live outside when the weather is ok

Hi:) I have a c&c cage too and at the bottom of the cage I have a kind of thick plastic square and then I have some baby sheet and then som newspaper and lastly some fleece

I have that exact wheel for my robo and I always take it apart to clean it which is super annoying, I’m definitely going to try your method instead!

Love the video! My Guinea pigs take a while to clean them but it's so worth it at the end of the day, they get really excited and happy because they are in a clean and comfy place!! Where did you get your bowls from? I've been looking for those for a bit of a time. T^T

Rats are usually more prone to pneumonia with fleece rather than loose bedding. With loose bedding you want a loooot of it, make it deep and give dig boxes and such. Fleece just holds the urine too much so loose is better especially for absorption. In my experience anyway ❤️
Well since mine all started to get pneumonia after switching to loose bedding my vet recommended sticking with what works for me. It’s different for everyone

i deepclean my guinea pigs cages every week, and spot clean twitch a day :)
I just cleaned my pet guinea pig cage and she started like making a squeaking sound and then she kept trying to climb out of the cage it was weird but it thankfully only took like 15 mins because is pretty decent size, 8 square foot.
Watching this as a reward for spending 6.5 hours today cleaning cages
Can you do a crested gecko care video!? I’ve been wanting one for awhile now but I’m seeing so many mixed things to do, heat lamp, no heat lamp :/
Cresties only need a heat lamp if the room temp is lower than about 72 degrees! I use a nano ceramic heat lamp that keeps the tank about 76 degrees at the top and 72 at the bottom. Just be careful not to have the tank above 80isj degrees or they can overheat. Hope that helps ❤️
do you find it’s messier not having the plastic sides up on mocha and lattes cage? i have a huge piece of corrugated plastic and it could make a much bigger cage for my piggies but i hate cutting it because i always cut through it :(
i highly recommend World's Best Cat Litter (non-scented). It is by far the best cost-effective litter i've tried. it wont stick to the pan nearly as bad as clay litter
just, whatever you do, do NOT get the lavender scented litter. i did by accident and my apartment now smells HEAVILY of lavender.

Hamsters are much easier to feed and clean their enclosures.. guinea pigs poop and pee where they sleep…. Hamsters don’t.. if that helps? If it’s your first pet I would NOT get 2 guinea pigs,,, also you can buy 1 hamster but you need to get 2 piggies..

Also I use litter bags so when I change out all of it once a month it's so easy! And the purple ones off Amazon don't rip while cleaning daily or how ever often you do. I clean the litter once a day lol 😆 but I'm a little over the top most my friends are every other dayers or so

I don't know if you have a video up like this already, but I would love to see how and where you keep your animals. Are they all in your bed room (and if that is the case how do you deal with the smell and things like dust and allergies?) or do you have a seperste room for them? Do your cats leave your pigs and rats alone?
They are all in their own room. Cats and dogs aren’t allowed in there
