      Why don’t he buy the business and open it himself so he can see what the fk he’s doing wrong? Open a store a his home let’s see what he experiences? These lunatics get so accustomed to being corrupt that they no longer care it’s out in the public view.

      Yes. They should also require stores to have a drive-though so thieves can just drive to the window and ask the nice clerk to bring them what they wanted to steal. Harris will probably do that.

      @@alphagt62 Safeway has to think about it's reputation in the whole country. But I would do what so many stores are doing and put everything under lock and key. Then when able, close. The city (or state) has already made laws that say a corporation has to give a 6 month (I think is the time) notice if they are moving out of state. I would imagine this law would have some time limit also.

    not let customers get their own food & supplies! An attendant took your order &

    do the same, thereby totally eliminating any theft or shoplifting! Problem solved!

I said that the San Fran grocery stores do not restock the shelves. Remove the empty ones until the whole place is empty. An employee or two could open and close until the 6 months is up. Like on the old radio program, they can say "Sorry, we are fresh out of that."

    • @animejanai4657
      @animejanai4657 Před měsícem +3

      It will probably need to be more than that. The store still has to satisfy the definition of a store in that location. So it would still need to keep its departments open, thus one brand of milk in Dairy, one type of bread in the Bakery, one type of frozen peas in the Frozen Foods department, one type of castile bar soap in the Laundry and Beauty products dept. And one flavour of Cragmont soda pop in the Beverages section. They should be able to cancel their monthly payment of the alcohol license by refusing to pay taxes that month which then forces the quarterly renewed license to be temporarily suspended for that month and eventually the quarter will end and they can refuse to renew it. Many but not all Safeway have a pharmacy, so it can probably let it go and replace it with just three products: band-aids, bayer aspirin, and one-a-day vitamins. That may be just enough to maintain qualification as a store that still has its essential departments all selling product.

Make it so the only way out is through the check stands. Have more cameras in the store than at the TSA checkpoints at airports. Move your back wall forwards to create more loading dock, storage, and break room areas but less shopping area.
