Hi Steel City Drones. Im a police officer here in Canada. Looking for suggestions on roof antennas for our command post and van that can be attached to the RC for interior flights. I was wondering if you could point me in the right direction. I thank you in advance for time and consideration.

Hello Zane we use M30 and Matrice 300 which don't have the ability for external antenna options. We can get up to 1500 feet with just a controller in the van.

How is flying the drone from inside a van FAA legal? Line of site?

In the video we very specifically clear that the purpose of a drone van is so that the Drone pilot is outside line of sight with the drone and that a dedicated camera operator is inside the van and that the PIC, operator and VO's are all touchless radio headsets.

Nobody having problem with the hdmi port in the smartcontroller??? We cant get full screen on a monitor in camera view. Only in duplicate mode. Realy anoying!

Match up what the output of the smart controller is outputting to the native resolution of the monitor. For example if your display monitor's native resolution is 1920X1080 30P you should setup the HDMI out to output exactly that resolution. The Smart Controller is completely adjustable to do that. If that doesn't help try a different HDMI cable, one that fully supports all resolutions. They are not equal by nature. Hope this helps.
