Yes it does sound old, because it’s absolutely fantastic, nobody before at the time or since has been as great as Led Zeppelin. These 4 amazing men are the GOATS of their crafts, & together they are the GODS of music, of all genres. I’ve loved them for about 50 years, & I was a couple years late to this magic. Every song they play is amazing, even the couple that aren’t my favorites, this is my favorite live song they preform.
This is 50 years old... half a century!

One of the myriad of brilliant moves that Zeppelin and Peter Grant did was to record this performance as a movie. The cinematographic production values and especially high fidelity sound really enabled Zeppelin to shine like never before, and since.
Robert Plant' stage presence is a mesmerizing show in itself.

I saw LZ in 1974, Page and Plant in 1994, Robert Plant in 2009, and Robert Plant with Alison Krauss last month. Their version of Gallows Pole was incredible!
Plant just exudes sexy, with the greatest vocals, he also has a great sense of humor.

I love your first reaction. "I doesn't feel old." Music that is timeless never feels old. ALL of Led Zeppelin's music catalog is timeless. They are one of those bands that didn't record one single bad song. Shinedown, a newer band, is another great example. Every single song both bands recorded was amazing. Zeppelin will never be deleted from my playlist. Timeless.

April 30th, 1976...in the Pontiac Silverdome just outside of Detroit Michigan, I saw LED Zeppelin at the age of 13. It was awesome 😎😎

Music history: Jimmy Page formed a new rockband The New Yardbirds in 1968 comprised in Led Zeppelin. Original Jimmy Page would have the singer Terry Reid in his group. But Terry Reid was on a tour with the Rolling Stones. So the second choice is Robert Plant. And the rest is history.

I was 21 when I saw them live in Mobile Al around 1973. They played for 3 hrs straight!
Those were some magical times back then..so many great bands to see❤ we truly thought it would never end.

Led Zeppelin was a great band. They had a great blues sound. I could tell you were digging it. Their songs are just awesome.
I’ll never forget watching How the West Was Won as a kid on dvd and rewatching MSG for this exact take. (Early 2000s). So cool to see it resurfacing now and seeing music fans of all genres appreciate and enjoy the genius of this song. ❤
Hey Mo - watching other reaction channels and what they will do is to put a filter over the video showing on the screen (like raindrops, or just darken it). So if you are having videos getting blocked, I'd check with some other reaction creators to see what they are doing.

Yes I checked. I watch other reaction channels too, and I figured that some also reduce the size of the screen. Just that the whole thing isn’t predictable at times,some get to upload it at a time when there wouldn’t be restrictions while other don’t. It’s majorly the copyright owners rules.😄
But I’ll try the other methods when next I encounter that cos I’ve seen that too in other reaction channels too.😊

I know it is hard to believe BUT they have an even better version of this live song from the Song Remains the Same concert movie, search for that when you can, they played MSG several times in 1973, what you just saw is one of the other days that did not make the movie. If anyone asks you going forward to play Led Zeppelin live in MSG 1973, look for that song video from the movie, they picked the right ones for it for sure. Any Zeppelin is great but that concert movie is their best to that point. Great reaction and enjoy! 🎵🎸🎤🎹🎶
No . They only played once for three nights in MSG. But , yes, this isn't even the strongest performance of the three.

And You Tube has taken down most of the videos from that concert . I recommend buying the concert DVD.... Titled The Song Remains the Same.
It doesn't sound old because one they defined music and two no music of today can hold a candle to these guys.
