they look like roland kick triggers from an electric kit. it's gotta be a hell of a lot easier to bring those around than two bass drums when you tour out of a van. function over form lol
As someone who was there you could feel his kick drum caving ur chest in every hit. It was great
As a drummer and a lover of organic drum sounds I wanted to hate it too, but I love this band. Triggered bass drum has a certain charm paired with the poppy snare tone.
