Hello sister in Christ, quick question was Yahshuah hung from a tree post or cross? Been fasting on this question but been overthinking about such teaching
SUPREME MUD --- Yes Most definitely it was a CROSS. Aside from the fact that Rome made Death by crucifixion of thier enemies a regular practice, whereas Hebrews chose stoning,...One must understand that before Yahshua was born, the very reason and how he would die was interwoven into the ancient Written Hebrew language.
The Word says that the SiGN would be that a Virgin would give birth. Now in the Ancient Hebrew written language the picturgraph for the Word "Sign" is two sticks in the shape of a cross ✝️. So just as the Word says, before the foundation of the world God Yahweh had already planned Salvation through that Cross which is a sign and symbol of Yahshua HaMashiyah.
Therefore, this cross not only stands for salvation, it reveals how God Yahweh used it to take back the power (Destroy the works of the devil) from the wicked Pagans, resting the law out of their hands through the very instrument of death that had kept the Hebrews afraid.
So now it symbolizes life!
