- Did you headlights stop workings, did you replace the bulb but it still failing? You probably got you connector melted or burn. Watch this video to solve the problem. This is a common problem on this Fiat Panda 169 car, it is a design problem caused by a narrow wiring.
You can check if this is your problem by removing the grey socket in the control unit. If it is difficult to remove it, probably the connector had got melted. When you finally remove the connector you have to check wires on pin 7 (Wire grey and black) and pin 8 (Wire grey); the two smaller wires.
People left in the commentaries that they had spent up to 300€ on the garage.

This is only a half and temporary solution to the lighting problem. To prevent contacts from burning out, two relays and two fuses must be added. The current lighting circuit will then control the relay coil and significantly reduce the thermal load on the contacts.

Ciao, I found your video, I had the same problem. My right light didn't work. I took the car apart, but still couldn't find the problem. After watching your video I found the connector melted a little, the metal in the connector was bend backwards. After fixing this problem with a small screwdriver my light worked again. I nearly went to the garage, now it saved me a big bill. You have no idea how releaved I am. Thanks again.

We need God's help when starting somewhere with the PANDA 😊
I have a Panda from 1991 (0.75 fire engine), and recently when I turned the headlights switch the car jumps because of the load or it wont start if turned off. The turn signal was working not well recently, too - lightinng almost constantly and emitting strange noize.
I guess it is some kind of short of both?
Can you recommend what connectors to clean?
Is it the earth cable which needs to be cleaned as on the videos about old car battery troubleshooting - headlights??
Putting a new connector and wires is not the permanent solution.
the problem is sometimes the wires get to much voltage, and then it got to hot and melt.
With this solution it will happen again.
If you put a fuse between the wires, it wil blow the fuse and not melt the connector.
