Thank you for this video. My younger sister has had breast cancer, beat it, but now has a lump again same breast, same place. God bless all suffering from cancer of any form, mine was in my brain at 16 and I am cancer free in the brain.

I watched this video, thankful that you shared this. I can relate to the waiting aspect of pre diagnosis, I am going through all these emotions and I thought I had no patience left in me, but I am placed in a situation where I have to be patient and I have to be centered and focused

I’m sorry you went through so much anxiety (perfectly to be expected). I’m lucky to live in two of the top global medical centers in the world where radiologists will provide a heads up from the first scan so the patient is not blindsided. Even if they didn’t, their confidence that it might be cancer is right there in the BIRADS score in the radiology report which should be uploaded to the patient’s online account. It’s the same for thyroid cancer and I simply Googled the scale - the radiologist rated it high but fortunately the biopsy came back negative. Wishing you good health.

I'm going for my mammogram Monday 2/11/2019. I'm 40 years old and a mother, and I'm having symptoms that are pointing to the "C" word. I'm terrified to even type the word. I know I'm older, but gosh I'm scared. I'm so glad I found your video. Thank you, for having the courage to upload it so people like me, would know what to expect. Please pray for me. I just subscribed. :)

Hello Micki. I wanted to comment on your video, which I make very few comments. Yours spoke to me, not so much the breast cancer but you hereditary hemospherisitosis. I was drawn to your video because of your prediagnosis, as I too am in my cancer journey as well. In December 2018 I was diagnosed with stage 2 uterine cancer. In January 2019 I had a full hysterectomy which included the removal of the uterus, cervix, fallopian tubes, and ovaries. In addition, they removed 2 lymph nodes, omentum (lacy fat layer that lays over the abdominal organs), and the fluid from the abdominal cavity. The labs showed the the cysts found on the lymph nodes and ovaries were benign. Unfortunately, I had cancer cell within the abdominal fluid and a cancerous nodule on the omentum. Because the cells were found outside the uterus I was upgraded to stage 4 uterine cancer. I'm currently 4 day post 3rd round chemo. I'm half way done with my treatments. But like I said I'm most interested about your hereditary hemospherisitosis. I have hereditary hemospherisitosis as well. I was diagnosed at age 7 and had my enlarged spleen removed at age 8. When you were mentioning some of the problems you have with hereditary hemospherisitosis you mention your cells don't carry oxygen the way it should. After I had my hysterectomy I have been placed on continuous oxygen. My blood oxygen always drops too low especially when I start walking around and the doctors don't seem to know why. You are the only person I have heard to have hereditary hemospherisitosis and I was wondering if you have had any breathing issues post anesthesia? Thank you for putting yourself out there and being a warrior.

Thank you for this video, I have biopsy scheduled tomorrow and everything you went through I have too except I only did mammogram and ultrasound. Radiologist said it was benign Fibroadenoma but since my mom was diagnosed so young wants to do biopsy just in case. That was a little over a week ago and in that time my armpit was swelling but I noticed I have been so damn stressed I tense up through the day and may be causing that lol fear is a powerful thing. But like you said since I felt the lump three weeks ago I have cried, been angry and sad and felt hopeless to now I am at a point like I am ready for the news either way so I can do what I need to do to get through it all. I love this video you really pin pointed the feelings.

I’ve had alot of issues going on. I’ve been so sick for about a year and half. Just sick as a dog. I won’t gross you out with all the problems. Finally went and had a Mammogram. I was there over 3hrs. The Doctor came in a said I was Low Suspicion for Breast Cancer. What does that even mean? I don’t remember too much of what was said after that one sentence that he said. Foggy. I have to go back in a couple months or if something changes. I was ready to get outta there. I can say I don’t have a lump. That I have found. Well not in my breast anyway. I have one somewhere else but I haven’t associated that with my boob issues.

I cracked up when you said about you having a toilet seat face when you got up off the bed thingy hahaha lol I bet that nurse pissed her self laughing about that for some time haha.... Its all pretty scary aye, when I was 18 I found a lump in my thyroid gland and had to go through what you did except no booby squeeze ;-) and ended up having the biopsy done but they still could not decide if there was cancer in it so they removed my right thyroid good thing really because it was like a golf ball in my neck anyway I completely understand what you are going through as far as emotions and that are concerned its a heck of a roller coaster ride and its great to get off that ride when its finished take care my dear my prayers and thoughts are with you..... My friend Michelle Billins is? the head of the kitchen at a hospital in Idaho, she found a lump, went to the mammogram room before her shift, walked the results to Oncology at first break got diagnosed by second break, positive. she scheduled a radical double mastectomy for the next day, her day off, and notified HR that she might need the Assistant to step up for a day or two. The analysis of the non symptomatic breast came back positive as well. "Can you save it?" was her first question ... LOL she was wondering what to hide inside her replacement breasts, become an international currior, with boobpouches? An Oooga horn to entertain her grandchildren? a fart gag bag? Heaters? One A cup and one DD? Connected so if you push one the other one gets bigger??? She called me a week later like, so this happened...
The lump transfers any push force to the other side of the lump without dispersing it. unlike soft tissue.
Be healthy, live long. Michelle was well aware of the history of breast cancer in both sides of her heritage. Oooga!
