American Dad Intro speedrun 28 second personal best

I paused at the beginning to load in the assets. Due to my computer, if I were to continue without pausing, the game would crash due to unloaded textures.
I used the Window Clip to cut Stan to the door.
I pause buffered to skip Stan picking up the newspaper.
I pause buffered again as the PC release of American Dad has a glitch where everytime you unpause while driving a vehicle, it will increase the speed once you stop pausing.
I used a glitch to make Stan warp out of the SUV and end the speedrun upon the theme ending.
This run was recorded on the 2014 PC Release of American Dad! on the Day One patch.
American Dad! is a beat-em-up game where the protaganist, a CIA agent named Stan Smith, needs to make his way through enemies to reach the final boss. Along the way, you can get more members (Lives) so that you can last longer.
The game stopped being sold in 2017 with the final patch being a list of all the cheat codes.

Good luck man, can't wait to see the times come down. Try to prioritize getting more VRAM, as with the changes in the crypto market, you can get new LHR cards for near MSRP. Even compared to a few years ago, 6 to 8 GB VRAM is common place. Depending on how old your PC is, if it's struggling to run a game from 2014, it might be time to upgrade to an SSD or maybe even NVMe if you haven't already.

thats a very interesting way to speedrun, but i think if lowering the game resolution, texture quality, and graphics in general, they can load even faster.
