They sound like traitors….
They are , traitors of democracy
Guys, you’re killing me… Russia must be stopped.
Scary how ill informed these people are

This level of ignorance and or callousness is terrifying. These people really want to cosy up to a murderous genocidal dictator.
I'm impressed by how well informed and rational they are.
The fact you can't see that means you have been brainwashed.

Have you seen videos of how nice Russia is now compared to 30 years ago.
In the West the opposite has happened because our elites hate us.
It's the same arguments that I see on online forums all the time. All of them based on either partial or no information. For example, the guy going on about the Minsk Agreements doesn't appear to know that Russia was required to remove their troops from the territory of Ukraine.
@@rogeri2468 all coordinated

I have the same conversation with an American cousin of mine. Strident and with the faith of a barn preacher, I can’t understand if they are taking this position because of their party politics, truly believing that Ukraine doesn’t deserve protection because of the perceived corruption where information was withheld by Zelensky to aid Biden politically. The accusation of financial corruption is also used as a justification to ignore the war, and therefore America’s role in it. As the leader of NATO, America presumably led and encouraged the discussed expansion of NATO to the Russian/Ukraine border, which apparently so incensed Putin he thought it would be better located in Romania/Moldova, still with Russia on a border with NATO. And of course, for a side to use the allegation of corruption in government leads one to question the oft quoted allegation of American political corruption, and the swamp of politics in America, and how ignoring the blatant invasion of a sovereign nation with atrocities committed against civilians with NO guilt regarding abuse of power, can be correlated. The Americans are obviously nervous regarding their financial situation, and that too is clouding judgement in my opinion. Of course, should America refuse further activity here, the world will wonder if they will engage further in the pacific, which is obviously troubling. Indeed, the global Empire established by America will be considered a prize to be taken by different actors. And although it is attractive to many Americans, surely the few people who travelled abroad from America understand it to be impossible to return to fortress America, for any duration.
Unfortunately, we in the west have neglected to plan and invest for the future over decades, and I truly believe the global leaders actively sought to reduce the world’s population, like people were their livestock. The intoxication of power, particularly in people unused to it, can lead to deadly results for ordinary people. That can be said for nations and their leaders. But in my opinion, now is the time for resolve. Britain and Europe must make plans for American disengagement from the world, but really try to show support should they wish. I can’t see how Britain and Europe can ignore a problem that America can, however briefly.
Look on the bright side. Buy defence ETFs. And remember the lucrative peace dividends of 1945 and 1991.
Please don't bother asking Americans, especially young ones, anything about history or events in any other country. Although they're usually not too bright about their own country either...
These vox pops were a breathtaking display of overconfident bluster based on lazy reading of simplistic or downright inaccurate bullet point summaries.
America - so big it has to be involved but so obtuse you wish it didn't have to be.

What is NATO for, if not as a force to defend against Russia?
It's for the usa to make as much money from their drooling lapdogs, the usa will never die for any of their vassals in nato.
Primarily Russia, but it can defend against threats from any number of countries against it's member states.
Ukraine is not a member of NATO and there is no obligation to defend them.
But...but.....but....Soviet Union was broken up in 1991.
So, why did NATO continue to operate?
Answers on a postcard, please...
@@livingtribunal4110 Because Russia still had forces and nukes pointed at the NATO countries.

What a bunch of clowns.
Has a feel of the period prior to then early wwii when the US convinced themselves the Nazis were a European problem and couldn't be beaten. Very worrying.
Calling them Pro-Putin supporters is a mischaracterization. The one dude who seemed to think Putler would have been happy playing in his own back yard doesn't understand geopolitics. When pressed Putler's true colors came shining through.

Unbelievable. How are these people in government?
Maybe the vast distance across the Atlantic ocean can excuse how ignorant they are of what is going on, but not really.
Quick question. Do you support having embassies? They cost enormously, and for what? To help you over there? No. All they do is “have an ear to the ground”. And then what? - If you don’t think your security HERE needs getting involved THERE, recall everyone.
It does have to be said that one of those interviewed remarked that the West should incontrovertibly be on Ukraine's side in this conflict, so that slightly weakens the sentiments of the video's title. Perhaps it could also be said that it is understandable that Putin would feel encircled by NATO expansion. However, none of that justifies this act of aggression. There may come a time where we can truly be allies with Russia when once 'Putinism' is over, but that is far into the future.
Putin doesn't feel encircled by NATO. Because, before he started his war, NATO only shared a small bit of border in the west of Russia.
@@proselytizingorthodoxpente8304 Perhaps I should have added the word 'potential' before 'NATO'.
@@christopherbentley7289 Putin considers Ukraine to be part of Russia regardless of the existence of NATO. The war is basically Putin attempting a reenactment of the soviet invasion of Hungary/Czechoslovakia when they attempted to break away from kremlin control.
Gone to far now 😢
Oh, yes, I remember Russia trying to join NATO. And?
In 1993, a US State Department document even designated 2005 as a deadline for Moscow’s as well as Kiev’s “accession to the bloc,” wrote Simon Saradzhyan, the founding director of the Russia Matters Project at Harvard Kennedy School’s Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs.
In 1997, NATO and Russia agreed to form the NATO-Russia Founding Act, which defined the ways to work together and to cooperate with each other.
“Russia is part of European culture. And I cannot imagine my own country in isolation from Europe and what we often call the civilised world. So it is hard for me to visualise NATO as an enemy,” said Putin, the country’s acting president in 2000, three weeks before the election, which made him president. -
But soon, he cancelled Alaska to Russia Far East flights. It was just a lie to get into power.
These guys are dangerous fools. They are not thinking about anything other than their party line.
