Almost totally agreed; But wars happen for a reason, when interests can't be resolved diplomatically; the world is already too divided to actuate a world war ..it's only nukes which have kept the capitalists restrained, otherwise wars have historically been a decently successful business model ..and the left only seeks power and surely no poking at all in the backyard .. just hope a blitzkrieg of small, below the threshold attacks don't happen simultaneously across continents,, the cause of progress in third world would suffer the most amidst all.
Making smartest move d be by Russians to annexe some parts of Ukraine by immense display of power n disarm the region in treaty signed on conditions agreeable to both ..if avoided and unresolved this is going towards a huge game of power struggle, destruction and arms race ..the business leadership of west (which basically holds govt) should behave as evolved humans in this age and learn to play down some what of their white business supremacist music .. cause China is gonna repeat all this equally irrisponsibly in later half of the century, being the global super power

I disagree. Putin is playing his cards right. The end game for him is a coup d’etat in Ukraine, not a successful military invasion. The build up of Russian troops along the border serves as a deterrent to nations who would want to interfere. He’d also benefit in the influx of weapons in Ukraine as he would eventually have them in his possession, anyway. Also, Germany’s support is conditional and would not mean much. A coup d’etat is technically not an invasion, so there’s no threat.

The idea was that Ukraine force Russia's hand so that Biden can stop Nordstream gas pipeline. The US has 61 gas tankers in Europe currently awaiting to be unloaded. But at what cost!
Ukraine was sold out by Biden who only wants to see Russia stop gas to Ukraine so the US can takeover gas deliveries.
