Purchased at a dodgy gas station years ago, this 1997 Gibson SG has been Chris Hannah’s No. 1 for over a decade. Hannah modded the SG with a mystery pickup in the neck position (perhaps a Bare Knuckle) and a Bare Knuckle Alnico NailBomb at the bridge. He also added an EverTune bridge for tuning stability. Strung with Ernie Ball .011-.052 sets, the SG stays tuned down a half-step with the low string dropped to C#. For picks, Hannah uses “those yellow ones,” which PG thinks are Dunlop .73 mm Tortex Standards.
Although Hago has several whammy bar-equipped guitars at home in Florida, she tours with her 1997 Gibson SG. It’s loaded with a Bare Knuckle Alnico NailBomb humbucker in the bridge position and sports an EverTune bridge. Hago strings her SG with Ernie Ball .010-.046 sets.
With the exception of a brief romance with Music Man basses, for most of his career Todd Kowalski has played an Ibanez Sound Gear SR 1500 strung with Ernie Ball .045-.105 sets. He has more expensive basses, but none that he likes as much as the SR 1500.

Christ give the guy a break. Why is it bad that he's excited and passionate about the people he interviews. If the interviewers were less into it I guarantee the very same people would be saying "ohh why do they not act more interested? They're such a dull interviewer". It's sweet that he's so excited and it's nice to see.

Fun Fact: "Boys of Summer" was written by Mike Campbell from Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers. Mike played it for Tom and Tom said "nah man, I ain't hearin' it", so it made its way to Don Henley. Don recorded it, and played it for his buddy Bob Seger, who said, 'yeah that's great, but you should have sung it higher. chicks dig when you sing high", so Don spent the weekend pitching it up higher and higher trying to find the right key and re-recorded the already finished track, which is the version we all know and love.

Spice up your next party by watching a Rig Rundown hosted by Perry, and taking a drink every time he says "gotcha"

See if you can do A Wilhelm Scream!
Also really unique that they use AxeFx. I feel like more punk bands could benefit from using AxeFx or Kempers because they don't travel with the elaborate setups that most metal bands do (whenever have you ever heard about a punk band not called Green Day having a guitar tech).

Speaking of Brownsound, it would be _awesome_ if you could do a rig rundown with Sum 41 sometime!

Todd's gear explanation was punk as hell. Some whatever Ibanez, Ampeg head so it doesn't get thrashed, and a "this fuckin thing here" 8x10 cab😂
I love this band (and I Spy)

He's definitely playing shiet down either cause he doesn't care for this type of content or his bored.. or who knows why ? But there's no way he actually is this stupid. These guys practice all the time and their songs are so well thought out and technical. Lol @ gain or distortion or whatever the fuk it's called 😂
