The company introduced the new TAG Heuer Connected (2020) last month. I got it today and will post a review in the next days. Improved hardware, sleeker design and with heart rate monitor.
I love Tags, and really like the Connected, but I'm reluctant to go with it because I use an iPhone. My Apple watch is fugly, but super-functional. Any comments on using it with an iPhone?
Android has a few features more than iOS, because iOS is a bit restricted and Android and Android Wear work great together. But to be fair, iOS got much more features lately as you can see you get almost every notification with it and a lot of apps.
That is a question everybody has to ask themselves. Is a rolex worth the price or is a TAG Heuer Carrera worth the price. If you can afford the 1.300USD and want the best smartwatch on the market, yes it is worth it then :)
is not much smaller. There is still smaller small watches. I got really small wrist and looking a daily smart watch. Still got me thinking about the size. How much would be in size difference with Formula 1 CAH111.0???
For a smartwatch it is already much smaller. You cannot compare that to a fitness watch from Samsung or Huawei. They might be smaller but they also don't really feel like a real watch. The Tag Heuer Connected feels like a real watch, great build quality. My wife has a absolute small wrist and usually wears the 28mm watches. Of course the Connected Modular 41 is still a bit bulky but that is just the style of the watch.
You need to set it up with the smartphone. It has it's own WiFi, so just set it up and it can communicate alone within that WiFi. It doesn't have a sim though. But for many features you also don't need internet. But without the phone of course you don't get the notifications.
Finally a review! Thanks. I’ve been waiting for the smaller version and finally it came out. The biggest disappointment is the battery. Having to charge it every day will be annoying for a watch, I was hoping they would improve it in the next version. Shiee$$t
But the battery life of around 25 hours is absolute normal with a smartwatch. You also have to charge your phone every day, then of course also the smartwatch
Yea true. What about the resolution when you see the watch in person? does it look too digital or does it look sharp and detailed? I was also wondering how the watch would look at night. Does it reflect too much light and is it disturbing? thanks
It has a 1,2inch display with a 390 x 390 pixel resolution. That is a pixel density of 326ppi. As Steve Jobs said with the first retina display of the iphone, with 300ppi the human eye cannot see pixels anymore. So the resolution of the Connected Modular 41 is enough I would say, especially because you usually don't hold it directly in front of your eyes, but with like a foot / 30cm distance. But even if I go close the the display I can't see pixels :) You can set up the brightness and it can adjust to the outside brightness to always have the right brightness. It reflects light, but even in direct sunlight in asia I had no problem reading it.

I had an apple watch before. I tried using it a few times, the other person could never hear me but everyone on the room could hear them from the speaker.
the most embarrassing brand, I have never met a brand from which you want to give money (to buy a product) and stutter a month, after which to tell me that ... to go to America if I want to I buy a certain model, as they have several partner stores in Romania. I recommend everyone to avoid this brand.

Actually I'm pretty happy with the resolution. It is totally enough as you usually hold your watch maybe 30cm in front of your eyes.

It doesn't have a heart rate monitor. The new TAG Heuer Connected 2020 has a heart rate monitor.
