Mario Party 8 is a 2007 party video game developed by Hudson Soft and published by Nintendo. The game is the eighth installment in the Mario Party series, and the first title in the series released for the Wii, and was followed by Mario Party 9.
Like previous Mario Party titles, Mario Party 8 features Mario series characters in which four human- or computer-controlled characters compete in a board game interspersed with minigames. Mario Party 8 received mixed reviews, with critics voicing disapproval of its single-player gameplay. The game has sold over 7 million copies, making it one of the Wii’s best-selling games.
I had to play the PAL version on the Wii U cause my Wii can over my capture device only output in 576i50 or 480p25 so i play it on the Wii U in 576p50 cause the PAL version of Mario Party 8 supports only 50Hz.
Well, this longplay is only the Star Battle Arena that is the story mode in this Mario Party game.

This Mario party is a very good one even though they change up a few mechanics from the other one to go with the wii's controls

It's a pretty stale game. Great, but stale. No wonder they changed the formulas for the sequels after this
