This was SUPER helpful, I recently got a tablet from Ebay for my wife and it was google locked, it did not say in the item description that it was google locked, instead of trying to return it and go through all that hassle, I tried out this method and I unlocked it in about 30 minutes, so thank you so much for saving me time and a headache.

HEY GUYS IF YOURE HAVING TROUBLE WITH OPENING THE APK FILE READ THIS!!
If the apk file is parsing it doesn't matter the main idea is to get into the settings so download a setting opener called Swipe Setting Tool Control. After you download it. Open it and accept everything and then the settings bar will appear . On the third column "Gps/other" scroll down to the last one with the tools and a little android. It will take you to settings. Go to back up and reset. Factory reset it and your all done. Just wait for it to reboot. And you can sign in with your own google account . THANK YOU !!
OH YEA AND YOU DOWNLOAD IT EXACTLY WHERE YOU DOWNLOADED ES EXPLORER SO PRESS BACK TO GO BACK TO THAT GALAXY APP PAGE!!

Thank you very much ! It solved my problem ! Didn't have to get all through the camera thing. Just clicked next next next to the screen where nothing appears after unplugging router, then removing battery while still on, then put it back and the phone will put back every app and opens like a new. I reset the phone all over again just to be sure and everything was fine ! Thanks !

I got into settings and then went to storage - explore
I copied the files to my SD card and finished the last steps of the video!!!!!!

I was able to get the Notification Promt thru another method but then fell flat after getting to a web browser. Other method got me that far but nothing from there would work. This video gave me the idea to download the file explorer direct from an APK search. After that just followed the instructions in the video. Great help. Thanks RJ

Go to Camera
Take a picture
Go to gallery (you must insert your password)
Now select the picture and choose share
Select SMS
Send a .com msg to 123 or whatever number (it does not matter since you dont have a sim)
Tap on the link you sent
Open in chrome or internet
Tada you now have access to the internet
Now follow Rootjunky! =)

Bummer. After the reset/reboot it still asks for the original Google account. I even looked in the account settings beforehandand there was no google account. I couldn't add my own account either, it alwas asks for the original. Android version is 5.1.1 on that old S5 Neo.I suppose it's a paperweight now. Shame.
Well, a combination of this method and the 'sika524 quick shortcut' via OTG-USB actually DID work. I couldn't download anything properly, about 95% of the time i got that parsing error when trying to install the APK, but whatever. This old, beat up S5 is working right now, so many thanks!

I literally just downloaded that Es explorer and went to google searched for that app you download off a website with a hand forgot what it was called then I went back to check the downloads on the Es app.. I opened it.

How did u downgrade it
I downloaded the earlier firmware for my phone on the sammobile site and used Odin to install it. There are lots of videos on using Odin. Picking the correct firmware can be tricky and the phone may not boot with the incorrect firmware. So there is some risk or you may need to try another earlier firmware. Make sure to document your current firmware in case you need to reinstall.

i didnt see the download button either so i played with it a little. What i did was take a photo, then click the gallery on the bottom corner, then on the photo click edit, photo collage, download, but in the search engine type what he says...

f you're having this issue with "parsing the package" . you're going to need the OTG once you download the file browser. connect the OTG with the samsung google bypass apk file he provided loaded on it. search for the file on the OTG and that should do the trick. that worked for me when I was getting that parsing error.. hope I explained this clear enough. good luck.
+Mi'kayla Witter What i did was held the .apk file until it gave me the option to click more at the bottom right corner then i clicked open as and that gave me the option to click settings which then gave me the option to factory reset the phone again pretty much preventing every step between 11:49-12:03... didnt have to turn on unknown sources, didnt have to install the file... i honestly dont think you have to add google as a favorite or download anything, i believe once your in File Explorer and can manage to hold any file and get the (More > Open As > Settings) Option, you should then be able to get to factory reset and continue pass the lock.

I just did this and there was a few extra steps I had to do . I still had to use my otg cable with the apk and install after I downloaded ES file Explorer. Believe it or not I got it the first try. Thank you so much. I did this on a Note 5 N920V
mine is Galaxy Grand Prime and in the camera there is no download
i got the solution for those with grand prime. follow the first step on the video. once you have acces to the camera you will not find the download icon..... no problem take a photo select the picture that you took, then select edit icon a will ask you to download. at this point you will be able to continue with the process ( download file explorer)
but after that I can't see the edit icon. What happen?

+shanell cill Ok guys if you got this far like i did (and failed to parse, like i did), Download SideSync for android to your phone here: apkpure.com/sidesync/com.sec.android.sidesync30 the same way you downloaded RJ's .apk Then download SideSync to a PC run them both so long as they are on the same wireless net they will sync. From your PC SideSync lets you access all the apps on the phone including settings where you can reset the device from the PC and reboot. At that point you are clear! You can log in using any account. It took me a few weeks but I got it finally! I have a Metro PCS Galaxy Grand Prime.

Dude, amazing video! Except your .apk doesnt work. So I googled samsung bypass .apk and downloaded the file which first showed up. Worked perfectly. Thx!!!
They have patched this, but if you're at the camera with no download option here's a solution:
When you're on the camera, first take a picture. Then tap the settings icon in the top left. After that it should take you to the photo settings. Back out of that and now there is more options on the photo. Go to "edit", and hit photo editor, it should bring you to the store. After that go onto any app, scroll down and hit "share". This should let you send by SMS, hit that. Now send the link to any number and go ahead and click that link. Now it should bring you to chrome, and you can go to rootjunkys website and get the bypass. This method you don't even have to download es file or whatever it is. I found this way by myself since they patched the other method. Thumbs if this worked for you.

Easy bypass, use a open school wi-fi with a sign in. It will fail to connect. No internet in campus. Then you can go past the setup.

A good video, and you definitely helped me out big time, buuuuut, your method is slightly long winded. From camera > Download > Search for Launcher > Download Launcher by Anthony L Eicher > Open > go through the setup > Bam, new default home launcher, then just click App drawer and navigate to Settings > Backup and Reset as per normal.
I found out this other and quicker method because after downloading google bypass from rootjunky website, it wouldn't install, I always got "Failed to parse package" which sometimes occurs when Unknown sources isn't turned on.
Tips.... if you are on 6.0 or over, head to samsung-firmware.org and grab the 5.x firmware for your model (won't be available for newer models) and use ODIN to flash the new firmware, this will then make the camera icon appear after setting the PIN and restarting.
EDIT: So after doing this and then Backup and Restore > Factory Reset > Erase All. My FRP Lock stayed enabled! Not like the video, after 1/2 day of trying other things and other weird behavior, it seems that booting into Safe Mode clears the FRP Lock state. Need someone to confirm this.

Update...I updated galaxy thru the camera after I took a photo and click share and it asked me if I wanted to update the app, so I did which eventually got me back to another update and then it went to the samsung app site, and couldn't find the es file explorer but did find a file explorer and web browser in one, installed and went to your site, and finally got past the FPR for google, and so then reset it and IT FINALLY WORKED>>>THANKS...I have been trying every other video today to get this done. This is insane what they do so you can't reset a device and probably pay someone to do it since this was a PAIN in the you know what...BUT THANKS!!!

Worked on a Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 kind of, followed your guide to the add a new user, rebooted, then added another user from the lock screen which took me to the home screen (awesome) which allowed me to get the dev apk (thank you very much) which allowed me to logon as the original user which allowed a factory reset....boom
I must admit thanks a lot for the procedure, I had the same problem with a asus device though the first part off turning off internet while its checking for updates and getting to the phone settings and make a factory reset worked for my case.

I tried this way and got all the way through to the camera. My camera does't have a "download" option. I restarted the phone, swiped my pattern and went through the process again. This time I was able to access my Google account with permission from my Galaxy Tab A7. I think you are on to something with the privacy lock. I'm all good to go. Thanks for the info.

Ok....so far so good, everything has worked exactly like you said. I reached the step where I open up the camera, click on mode, but I did not have the download option. I am not quite sure how to move forward from there. The phone I have is a Samsung Galaxy Core Prime.
Ohhh you just gotta have access to the router...But if this truly works than you are truly a genious..There are other ways to by pass FRP....If u can get into google voice mode by holding down the home key or any key for that matter than u can also backdoor in..
Hi, great video. I have a question though. I'm on the metro pcs galaxy core prime model (G360T1) and I get all the way to camera and click mode but there isn't a download button among the options. Is there anything I can do to continue? Really trying to get it working for my wife. I just spent my last $70 getting her this phone and she can't even use it. i was able to bypass the google account page right from the part where you turn off wifi then turn it on again after you timed it to unplug it quick like you said then was able to skip past everything and went to menu then settings and did a complete factory reset then it worked perfect after that everytime i would reset it. it worked with no PC or OTG cable at all. Give it a try

Almost Awesome! You got me up to the camera part, which I see but I don't have a MODE button. Is there another way for a Samsung Model SM-G531F (Grand Prime?)
P.S. Tried the photo trick but all I see is the image taken, no edit options other than the trash can.
