This smacks of hypocrisy. Gordon Brown sounds like he cares in this Sky News interview but it is all very easy to point to the terrible state of Britain today (and I agree, there is a huge amount of suffering and poverty amongst ordinary Britons now and we've sunk to just about a third world state) but what about the damage he caused when he was Chancellor of the Exchequer and Prime Minister.? Yes, I despise the Conservative government for not caring one jot about the British public, throwing away billions of pounds of our money on idiotic and wasteful projects (net zero, for example, or housing illegal migrants in luxury hotels). However, I can remember what Blair and Brown did to our country. They initiated the massive increase in migrants coming into the UK, thus making our housing shortage even worse, increasing the pressure on the struggling NHS and education system, plus diluting our own culture and traditions .In addition, Gordon Brown stole our work pensions that many of us were relying on to avoid poverty in old age. He was also stupid enough to sell much of Britain's gold reserves at a very low price on the market., so impoverishing Britain even more. And does he really care about the ordinary people? Don't forget what he called 65 year old pensioner Gillian Duffy from Rochdale (who was a Labour supporter) when she politely asked him a question about immigration and the economy. Her question was in no means aggressive or challenging and was a fair one, given her circumstances. Thinking the microphone was switched off, Brown expressed rage to his aides saying "Who let this bigoted woman in?" There was no way that Gillian Duffy was a "bigot" but it seems that Brown doesn't like us ordinary people disagreeing with him. He's also a Global ist, and like Tony Blair and most of our politicians, supports such elitist organisations as the W E F and the W H O. who are out to destroy the nation state. There's much more I could say, but this comment is too long already! Basically, do not trust him.

How is it that working people are destitute & visiting food banks? Clearly the way out of poverty is not employment now is it? Gas lighting & blaming individuals to cover up failed fiscal policies & they are powerless to regulate private corporations such as energy, phone, supermarket chains who insist on greedflation paying CEOs obscene bonuses whilst pushing up inflation… its grotesque in the simplest term
