Thank you... actually I'm from Goa...and I live near beach... along the beach stretch we had many causarina trees but they have grown tall and old now and getting uprooted uprooted due to heavy wind from the sea and erosion..
So thinking to plant banyan tree which will stay strongly even for many decades... Actually we already have one banyan tree near the shore...so trying to make the place more greener in small ways..hope it works..

Don't expect roots with in 2 weeks it might take 2months atleast.
So encouraging to see that cuttings can be grown into trees also. But the soil composition is not mentioned here. Does ordinary soil suffice?

problem may be in soil mixture use sand and normal red soil mixture bisheshwor indra
Can apply rooting-harmons like Cinnemon or Honey or Apple-Cidar Vinegar. and plant it tightly with Cocopit or sandy-lose soil with cocopit.

After two weeks, that was impressive....mine are still developing the roots, very slowly I might add, a few buds are popping on the tree but not he robust growth seen on your trees mate!
Maybe the Indian humid tropical/subtropical climate is the reason
Yes they are very slow..hardly one leaf in 1 month..for sapling..i m not sure if its so fast or he is showing earlier planted ones..
