This generation (997) is the one that made the watercooled engine era for the 911 to be so op in real life. This is just work of art made to be driven under every circumstances
And we're getting another one returning to FH5 this month as well, which I love since it's my favourite generation of 911 🙏

Not only it’s the first to have 4.0l engine but they drive it from Porsche HQ to the Nürburgring on public roads then raced ( remember in a stock car ) 24 hours there and after that they drove it back to Porsche HQ. It was like: Don’t mind us we just wanted to take part in a 24h race. We’re going home now

@@richiedebruyne7465 the 996 was the first generation with water cooled. But the 997 is the one that really caught on and gave people confidence in the water cooled 911 era
my dad has a 997 carrera s in slate grey (not very common compared to seal grey) in manual with all the sports options like the sports chronos and wheels etc. and honestly, we’ve both beyond fallen in love with it, they’re such great dailys, we also went to scotland and did about 670 miles over the saturday and sunday and it was bliss. such amazing cars.

Just needs some better tires, wider, 500-520hp and keep that engine natural aspirated.Amazing machine... Just like an F40, just needs 20-30% of work and it gets amazing. People usually go TT 1000hp. I'n my opinion when you go over 1000hp all the cars feel the same, too fast.
Agreed. Im more a realistic player. Since these were limited to 250 units i have to keep it stock . Being the odd realist player I feel I wouldn't mod it in real life due to its limited availability. So i don't mod it in game, yes I'm odd like that lol. Cheers
@@shadlad91 Music to my ears. Out of 250+ cars maybe 6-7 are 1000hp+. It really a one way car when you do that. But A800 or S1 900 is where cars handling and realistic speed is actually realistic. S2 also but just the power has to be very limited. Cheers
@@Mikrrii yes indeed thats cool. Plus so many players alway grab the fastest car in game max it out and then that's that. Forza h5 has such a variety of cars and for me a real car guy I just enjoy playing it with realism. Example, buy a golf r and do it up like I would in real life,. Cold air intake , ecu tune and exhuast. Stuff like that makes it fun for me. 😎
^ finally, some people that feel the same way as me. I drive most cars such as this stock, but normally have to tune the top speed to be more accurate to the real life counterpart
@@khakipeach2128 we are a rae bunch that prefer fun over being the fastest. Find it the same for tuning as you do. I usually max a few cars out with the dream mentality " how would I do it if I was super rich" but others are usually intake exhaust and ecu tune with top speed adjustments. I built a 900 hp AWD 69 camaro BUT only after I discovered there was a company that actually built one in real life. Google AWD 67 camaro. Cheers 😁

I use some of the 911s in FH5 for cross country and rally. They are surprisingly good at those types of races
I mean, Nick, Porsche is owned by VW, its gonna wheelie like a Beetle, the original Porsche 356 was designed by Ferdinand Porsche who designed the Beetle, the 356 is basically a Beetle with a very long bonnet, both are rear engine rear wheel drive :P

I was driving around in this Porsche Sport Classic today in the game and I love it to death.
I love it also and i hope the new 992 version of the Sport Classic that was seen last year and is due out in February makes it into FH5 (and the new Forza Motorsport)
The 997 Generation of Porsche 911 is easily my favourite gen. My dream car used to be the GT3 until I found out about this thing 🔥🔥🔥
it is indeed one of the best looking, along with the 995. 997 looks modern enough, but nothing fancy, just smooth curves.
That lip on the wing is the first tasteful wing that forza has made

Hey AR12, you know the giant stadium in FH5 right? On the inside of the stadium there's a slanted thing of concrete the circles the inside, do a couple laps on it, it's kinda fun and it's the closest natural thing to nascar in FH5

Little interesting fact with this car, if you twin turbo it, the little clock on the middle of the dash acts as a boost gauge😅👍🏻 and then acts as it should when n/a

Did you know you can make the Silverado Delberti or whatever . The one with the green fans in the back bed. You can make it 3000 lbs and 1000+ horse power at s900 and I beat everyone by 20 seconds plus in the marathon race. It's a great vehicle as a race truck.

I made it an AWD A800 racer and it's pretty good. (I use the newer, 2018 RS3 and the Carrera for S1)
fyi: I might have some kind of adhd, because I like to have similar cars in each class. So I have retro "coupes" for C (like Eclipse, 240sx, SC300), 90's bigboys for B (GT-R33, Sylvia, 2.5 EVO, etc), small sportscars for A (so this 911 fits almost perfectly, Cayman was the one I used before), mostly front engine superGTs and supercars for S1 and the high end supercars for S2 (X is pointless)

I actually did knew that it was In forza horizon 5 but for in irl $700.000 thousand dollars like that for to buy or sell for today that's really actually expensive for a old rare car like that but the handling is so dam good for turns in this game this constantly confirmed as a our old race car that was made in the 2010s best times 👍 btw I really miss forza morterspot 4 best game btw I rate this car for 9/10 btw the disappointment for the car is for what you said for what I thought that it need a nice big race wing or wings and actually modications btw I bet there's a widebody for this car 😂
