When you put on the jacket and it buttoned while saying you couldn't button it before. I immediately subscribed. I'm subscribing because today is Day 1 of my Carnivore Diet journey. I will be following you for the inspiration and for community. I pray you continue and persevere to reach your goal. I will definitely be following along to see you reach your goal.

My first month I also had "no" results. But I'm 6 months in, lost 20 lbs with little to no exercise, no longer have a large scab on my left knee that I had for years, no longer need antihistamines prior to mowing the lawn, don't get hang overs when I do drink, among other things. Keep it up!!

Don't give up! You're doing great. I have been in carnivore for about 15 months, and I am still amazed at the changes I am still seeing.

There are so many factors & if you're sticking to it... it's NOT YOU! :) Took us a long time to get here, won't be instant to move the other direction. Please keep that in mind. Also, it's different for everyone & for different reasons, but... the results will come! Men seem to lose quicker & more than women. Depends where you carry your weight + our age. Depends how metabolically healthy/unhealthy you are. Depends on if you have other health issues, are on medications, etc. Depends on age, etc etc. That said, I carried 99% of excess weight right around my middle. Stick legs & arms my entire life. If I gain, goes right to the gut. Been a diet controlled (after a few years of 3 different diabetes meds, all at max doses + insulin... which is when I said nope.. not doing it, was HELL) Type 2 diabetic, technically, for 2 decades now. The last few years tho, started slipping into old carb/sugar habits & I could FEEL in every way that my sugars were prob high again & I was becoming insulin resistant again. Tested my blood sugars & boy was I shocked. That day, tried 30 days of this "carnivore" thing a friend swore by. Tbh, I thought it was absolutely ridiculous, showing just how brainwashed we've all been. WELL..... after those 30 days, I hadn't lost an ounce either. My glucose numbers were lower, but.. not by much (& for 30 days, I was eating NO sugar/carbs). Decided to keep going for some reason &.. eventually they did start coming down. Imho, we have to fix those things before our bodies will start to "let go" per se. I felt better in every other way by then, just wanted the sugars to come down more to near normal (have been unmedicated for 20 yrs) AND to lose some weight. Sleep, phew.. never better. Mental clarity, energy, focus, aches/pains/inflammation... SO much better!!! Prob around the 90 day mark, I decided to weigh myself again & I was down like 7 lbs. Sure, it's something but I was again disappointed. I kept going tho.. not wanting to lose all those other benefits. My clothes were getting a lot looser too, I laugh.. as even my undies were falling down beneath my pants. ha ha ha, who'd-a-thunk?!? I did one 'fast' & on a day I just wasn't feeling hungry, decided to see how long I could go until I was. I drank water & 1c of coffee in the mornings. I put a little pinch of good salt under my tongue. I think I was craving things, but not 'hungry' so kept going. Ended up being near the 3rd day & I decided to eat. Lost 10 lbs that week AND my blood sugar numbers were pretty darn close to normal fasting AND 2 hrs after a meal, which I hadn't seen until that point. That was around Christmas... haven't weighed myself since. I'm sure I will at some point, but........ it's now been 11 months of this "30 day challenge" lol.... & I've NEVER felt better in every way. My metabolic health is greatly improved, I'd no longer even be considered PRE-diabetic. It took time to get there tho, so my body would start releasing it's storage of glucose, etc. Worth it just for that, imho!!!!! I hope you don't get too discouraged & give it a little more time. You'll see, stick with it. :) Sending you positive thoughts, well wishes & all the encouragement you need!!!!!

Naomi, stick with it, try 18 hour intermittent fasting. Butter/bacon/eggs. I don't know if this helps, but if you drink coffee, and you don't like it black, use heavy whipping cream.
Of course I'm a dude. I think the advice you should listen to more than any is another woman that's on this diet, from what I understand, you ladies might have different considerations when doing this diet.
You are trying, and that's HUGE! Good for you, don't be discouraged. picture yourself when you slim down to bikini weight, walking on the beach with the sand between your toes, lookin' like a million bucks. It will be wonderful.
    Good luck!

I've been Intermittent Fasting for 6 weeks. I feel so much better. A little bit of change in the way my clothes feel for the good.
The scales are staying for the past 3 weeks.
I know how you feel. Feel it, and lift your head. You're gonna do this!
    God Bless. New Sub.

The number on the scale does not equate your worth. I know that may sound silly, but it really is true. That number is information. You are changing your body composition, and the scale will change. You will get to your goal! Don't give up! ❤

Take your measurements and if you don't have weight loss, check your measurements, like you did with the jacket, some changes happen without visible weight loss, remember some healing could be happening in your body, you didn't get this big quickly, time and faith in the healing is what you need

  • @Subwolf231

You may be putting muscle on not fat so don’t worry about the scale just keep doing what your doing it could be water weight shifting are you doing any time of fasting? Are what are you eating throughout the day? Because there might be something your eating that your body needs to be cut out I am and have been going carnivore now for 84 days now I was at 324 pounds I am currently at 284 pounds I try to walk each day to achieve getting in 5-6 miles with 10k plus in steps my lowest is 278 pounds but I slipped and ate some stuff I wanted but wasn’t supposed to be having but I see how much weight it put back on me so I know that I can’t have that I drink only 2 cups of milk a month because milk may increase my weight and I don’t wanna chance it I read all the labels ingredients and I try to stay away for all carbs and sugars period so you just have to remember when you wake each day if you weigh yourself every day to take the weight of each day divide it by 7 days and that will give you your average weight per say or just weight yourself once a month I definitely notice that my chest mid stomach area and my lower stomach are shrinking my shirts are fitting better I am getting back into my old jeans and I am only 4 pounds away from where I was at back in November before the car accident that made me put weight on cuz I was 280 pounds then went up to 324 pounds before I could begin to relearn how to walk cuz I had to have 8 screws and a mental plate in place to hold my foot and ankle together and I only been able to relearn and begin walking for the last 4 months and I am having to go back in for other surgery because the hardware is not allowing my body to heal the way it needs to so if a get back to work and see how much of normal I am gonna be once I am fully recovered from all this so remember keep doing you and you will succeed and if you have questions please ask me I will do my best to help you achieve your goals so til next time let’s go!!!!!!!!!
