Did you manually insert the text and the slight darkened Vignetting around it yourself whenever they spoke?
Yep. I just happened to have a font on my computer that looked very close to what the actual game used for subtitles.
As for the vignetting, I used GIMP to make a rectangle filled with a gradient from black to alpha, then saved it as a .PNG to use here.
I'm legitimately impressed by how well Sarah fit into being a demon.

I was already impressed by the perfectly timed subtitles and voice lines you’ve used, but the interactions are literally what would happen if Double D Was a Hunter!

I declared this as genius the moment I saw you actually added subtitles, and by the end I was proven correct.

2) it warms my heart to think that Edd would be a fellow Kirkhammer main. even though he probably couldn't actually lift it to save his life (but being a hunter basically gives you superpowers anyway so he could probably make it work)

I hear ya. I feel a lot of these EEnE sound effect videos kinda go overboard sometimes and repeat a lot of certain sounds, so no single moment stands out, y'know?
Yeeah. I also feel like these kind of videos works best for more faster pasted videoes... Keep that in mind if you're got any other ideas :)
Oh, I've got some ideas, all right. I've got one last EEnE video in the works and then I'm leaving it at that.
(though maybe next time, I should consider going someplace other than Boss Fight Database for footage--everyone else's Vicar Amelia fights are way shorter 😁)

Do you have any idea how much audio and synchronization with years of work of editing and re-editing just to get everything right and would not sound boring or bad at least above decent?

Ricardo Valdes it's the only attack of hers that has ever killed me since even after it hits there's some sort of splash damage that shoots up forward after the initial smash
yeah I can see what you mean, God I love this game I've sunk so much time into it and I'm still constantly learning new stuff about it :D
There's even more variety in the bosses moves when you get to them in Challenge dungeons, and even special ones like that Queen Of Yharnam and the one zombie giant, as well as a few others. Sadly unlike a few Souls games though the NG+ only changes enemy placement and health
Wow she uses that attack on me all the time. She sends out a shockwave thing that has ridiculous range and damage. It’s only a second phase attack though I think.
Sometimes it happens. When I was playing Dark Souls III in NG+4 I discovered that Wolnir can summon skeletons and pull a big sword.
So this is what happened to Double D after the show ended!
If Eddborne was a real DLC, I'd get it in a heartbeat.

Too true. This project was pretty much how I spent the whole weekend. Not that I was rushing, but whenever I get caught up in working on a project I really like, I often lose track of time--these last two days just flew by. 😁
