As a child I think 10, my mom took me to a pride parade (I sadly live in portland) needless to say I saw some things that I shouldn't have. At the time I hadn't realized how messed up it was, multiple people had no tops on, and people took pictures with me. I didn't know much of anything at the time, but looking back I should not have been there. This was in 2018 and it seems some things have gotten more out of hand than should be legal.

I went to my first pride as a kid, I was 15. I can’t express what I saw without saying maybe twenty illegal things; and I did not go of my own volition, a gay friend of mine pressured me into it (who later came out as a woman, then as trans, then as a furry female trans combo).
Its gonna come to a point where Pride Parades and Events aren’t allowed to function. Or they’re going to be heavily heavily restricted.

When I was around 12 in the 2000's I read that "It's Perfectly Normal" book that they teach sex-ed from. At the time I thought it was a little graphic. I read it to learn more about puberty since my mom gave it to me. I doubt she knew everything that was in it and it was probably given to her by some educator. I would never let my future kids see some of that just like I would never let them near Pride. These people are sick. I had a friend even convince me to go to a Pride event in Minnesota this year. It was the same one where you had some weird man almost naked and twerking. There were many children and the "It's Perfectly Normal" book was at a booth next to where children can color. Just disgusting all around

Strange how literally every letter in the acronym has to do with sex, but since there's kids at the event it suddenly becomes about confidence in oneself. Call it what it is. It's not a pride festival when everything is about sexuality and identity. But of course calling it a sex festival makes it sound like the unhinged cultist movement it is! More importantly no one would bring their kids if it were labeled honestly as such.
I live in the Middle East, and while I don't agree with the ban of the LGBT, 1 thing I can give is it sure saves us the headache from stuff like this. It's sad because that's NOT what they're supposed to do or stand for.

Sure it saves us the headaches from this stuff (as I mentioned) but it's going as far as they want to put a law where the LGBT acts is punished with a fine and a jail time, which is 500 BD and 6 months to 1 year jail, but is worse if you try to defend it in any way which is 2000 BD and 1 year to 3 years in jail.
As far as I know, I don't think it's been implemented. Probably rejected, but idk.
Note: I live in Bahrain, so the BD is Bahraini Dinar.

Pride events shouldn't be seen as these to me pride months/events are meant to be Us being happy and proud of us having our rights and be seen as human and be free to be with ourselfs without being killed or judged. The only pride event i went to the drag queens were very mindful of the fact their were children in the audience 🙏 it was very fun and the drag queens even questioned why parents would let their young kids come to a show 💀😭
It all comes down to how you raise your kids as a parent. You as a parent get to directly decide how your child turns out when they get older.

In fact you shouldn't take your children to drag shows at all tbh, they mostly have a lot of provocative clothes and dancing that is inappropriate for children (coming from someone who has also been exposed to that stuff at too young of an age, it fucked me up). I was once a child who was sort of pushed into these things and it made me hella uncomfy at the time. I’ve found the good parts of the community over time but you just have to search around. Not everyone is this bad.
