That scene was supposed to make her look ignorant in the matters of Hulk, not powerful. She is confusing her life (which may very well be harder than any average man) with that of Bruce's life as an unpredictable giant. She even apologised to Bruce ("for some very harsh but very true things") and I'm sure if Bruce talked about feeling suicidal, she would've felt even more sorry. Bruce is the one who is portrayed as the much calmer and wiser sibling, while Jen is the more poky light-hearted one. That is the fun of that episode- siblings being stubborn with each other. You are not supposed to take her word for word especially in these first few episodes.

But not only is he there because he's afraid of the Hulk not dying and going on a rampage. He does this because even if he did successfully die, his body could be recovered and Ross would dissect him and use him to create more Hulks. That's what the real threat is.

This hulk... Just alone shows that even though bnaner isn't angry hulk knows what banner is about to do and takes over. Basically protecting him but also punishing him by staying as hulk

It's disgraceful the way the MCU has handled the hulk. He is a terrifying force...not part of a comedy team!

Ηε was a monster. Worst than most of their adversaries. But please, do not blame MCU nor Disney for that. Blame all those people who are satisfied by such, literally millions all over the world, for they only provide what the greatest demand requires.

Edward Norton makes hulk more seriously and fits more why did they have to fire him and make hulk comedic in the comics the hulk is meant to be a mean threatening angry rage monster not a comedy punchline hulk was serious in avengers assemble and age of Ultron we can see a sneak peak of comedic hulk in the iron man 3 post credit scene in raganarok it turned hulk into a silly joke cracking person then in infinity war he had no purpose in being in it remove him from the story and it won’t change anything I don’t think but in endgame he’s a nerdy joke maker shrek jokester I’m just glad that in the post credit scene to Shang chi Bruce banner quit being professor hulk

@@filmflix1431 well said! Edward Norton played the part to perfection. But my biggest problem is this...the Hulk was always my favorite comic book character when I was growing up. He was not a typical hero, but rather a terrifying force that would occasionally be helpful. Even the animated version of Hulk was well done and respectfull. But the MCU turned him into a whining toddler in Ragnorak, turned him into a coward in Infinity War, then eliminated him completely in Endgame. Disgraceful!

So, I thought he said he swallowed a bullet and the "other guy" spilled it out. The movie shows here that Bruce Banner didn't even had a courage to point the gun 🔫 into his mouth.

they should have kept this scene instead of the intro we saw in the final cut, you could have tell the origin of how he turned into in a simple way and you don't even had to show it but this scene in the arctic is brilliant, while Ang Lee Hulk explained hulks power and trauma at the very beginning was necessary because there was so much stuff to tell about Bruce and his father relationship that explaining that in the movie could had made it longer and a bit confusing (Hulk 2003 is my favorite hulk movie btw), this scene is brilliant as an opening in the movie because easily explain the struggling relationship between Bruce and Hulk and how tired, frustrated he feels about the cursed that ruined his entire life and there is not a single piece of dialogue just acting and good soundtrack.
    PD:Sorry for my bad english
