Sonic Beyond I think He is faster because Boom Sonic is older than Modern Sonic and Tails' brain is more advanced so he probably made something for Sonic to go faster.

I always thought the boom sonic was great just because of the very detailed movements. It would have been a perfect sonic design if they put together the excitement from unleashed and the detailed movements from sonic the rise of lyric.(no bandages)

Sonic Generation: Current Sonic and OG Sonic.
Now, how about...
SONIC GENERATION 2: All Sonics from the games (no spinoffs), Classic, Adventure, and Modern (Unleashed and Colors) Sonic.
SONIC GENERATION 3: Same thing as 2, but with all the shows, Sonic cartoons and Sonic X.
Sonic Generations 4: all spinoffs/forms to completely add all the sonics in existence and crash the game.
