How I Broke The Record For Longest Pull In Smite History

- The longest possible pull in Smite is decided by only two things: the game's mechanics, and just how badly you can break them.

Thank you to everyone who helped me research this video
Also, thank you to Jon Bois, Summoning Salt and BobbyBroccoli - who have all obviously had a large influence on my content. - Hry
everyone engage with this comment so my employers know it was cool to let me make a video about bugs in our game :)
It's so fun seeing a strat being developed, improved and then put into action, and you do it so consistently. Keep up the good work man
Employee of the month level effort right here if you ask me
Woah it's been almost been a year since your last vid!! Good to see ya man.
10/10 video, very pog
Always love smite bugs. they're the lifeblood of this game more than any patch ever could be on its own
God tier video dude, you're making the content the smite community is desperately missing.
You both are!
a massive honor coming from the 4-time longest pull record holder
you messed up your punctuation
God tier video dude, you're making the content. The smite community is desperately missing.*
@@oco.1896 lol what? he got it right

This is by far the best Smite video I have ever watched, the production value is ridiculous
You should check out his zero player damage, zero minion damage and infinite CC videos.
Bro imagine what was going through hades mind while getting pulled through hell and back twice
Thats what i thought lool. The poor hades getting bullied
BMT drops their elo so low that the enemy becomes close to bots, probably worse. So maybe they didn’t even know what happened 😂
I bet that player did never forget till this day
Instant f6. If you indured this level of trolling you dont wanna get burned twice in a match. Amazing.
Man just got ulted by Heimdallr, even though he wasn't in the match lol
Speaking of which, you reckon it's possible to change where the enemy lands after his ult? >:)
God damn was that an amazing video! Tons of work and dedication went in to that, I applaud you and all the people you had helping you in the video! Well done!
This is such unbelievably high quality content. I've always loved loved Jon Boi's video's despite my general lack of interest in sports. Seeing the same style applied to something I care about is so awesome.
One of the First videos on my CZcams is one of those downhill stick cycling games. I jumped almost the entire f* map and landed perfectly on the finish line. Surely that's not the intended experience for that level but I can tell you that it was greatly satisfying and I'll never forget it.
You and BMT are constantly pushing the boundaries of what I thought was possible in Smite. From theory, to testing, to execution.. I love the content you guys put out
Marvelous video once again! The ability to weave a coherent and compelling narrative akin to Summoning Salt, Wurtal and other Speed run doc creators but still beat them in terms of interesting and engaging editing was really awesome! I love the use of a 3D camera when flowing along the graph, it creates a real sense of immersion and progress that is super engrossing.
As a side note, I love how the Smite YTber community aren't petty about these records but instead collaborative towards them. It's really lovely to see!
I've been following you since "Best Seqet ever" (7 years) and I'm so proud and nostalgic with every video you uploaded since your first "professional" video when u used java to determine the longest cc chain. I couldnt stop smiling with this one :')
real ones remember Brisioso's Serquet :')
@@innocentrabbit yo facts 😭
@@brisioso 🥲🥲🥲
In a weird way, the longest pull in Smite reminds me of the Space Race. New developments for each attempt furthering the possibilities later on. Insane video. Cool to go back and see the old clips.
I love these smite documentary style videos. So much work and effort put in to show the true peaks and valleys of what a game like smite can offer
I love these game breaking interactions, and them getting fixed.
It made me sad to remember old Arachne tho. Gone but never forgotten.
Amazing, absolutely amazing. I love that you still get to do these, and BMT collabs as well, everything we can hope for.
this is insane dedication! and great collab with BMT too! very nicely done!!!
Awesome storytelling about a less known bug! It really makes you appreciate the history of smite ever since season 1 too. Seeing the old Arachne ult was super nostalgic
What a wonderful video, almost felt documentary like in some parts. The editing really makes it something else. Well done!
The production that went into that timeline graphic and the almost cinematic preview of the play by play with the Horus ult pull, is unbelievably well done. Another great vid as always, and bringing the BMT guys in just makes it even better!
Doesn't the rule about only counting the net end-to-end distance at 5:41 disqualify the extra pulls at the end from adding any extra distance to the record? I felt like suddenly disregarding that in such a way cheapened the journey a bit.
Really entertaining video in terms of showcasing the broken mechanics though!
I made a comment about this on reddit that I'll crosspost here with some more info!! :)
oh man, I'm glad you said that, I've been itching to talk about it - for the sake of making a cohesive narrative I cut like 3 minutes out where I went over this.
Basically, total distance and end to end distance were the same in a sense up until that point in time (total distance and end to end distance were the same record at every point in time, nobody went "backwards" like we did - so the timeline would be the same) - but end to end distance is a much cleaner calculation (I use dev tools to map out the distance). End to end distance is actually capped out at the one we hit (farthest enemy spawn to back of fountain opposite corner) so that record is "solved" until a larger map is out. So the only way to keep playing that record chasing game is to go for total distance. In truth there are 3 records possible: Longest single pull distance, end to end distance, and total distance. I chose to make a more narratively tight video by grouping them all into one timeline and telling a story - but I was keenly aware of the differences and had to make sacrifices somewhere. This is the first time in history that total distance record is significantly different, but you are 100% right, they are different things!
I never commented on a video on youtube and I have been watching videos for 10+ years. This video along with your past ones have been some of the highest quality films I have seen. Amazing.
Absolutely fantastic! You bring a whole new tier to the game in terms of enjoyment and it's people like you that keep this community so creative!
Honey wake up! A new innocentrabbit video just dropped!
I have not played Smite since season 2. I am very happy to have rediscovered your channel with this video. Thank you for igniting a nostalgia fire in me, and for making an absolutely incredible video to boot.
This video was so well made. Every part of it was amazing. The visuals combined with the music were perfect.
man I subbed to your channel the day after u dropped that first pull-combo video on the old Joust map. (I was a smite beta player and all that, played with you once or twice since then I think).
Glad to see the innovation hasn't stopped. This was awesome. I haven't played in months, but maybe I'll reinstall sometime soon to fuck around. Great memories with my friends just trying different styles of cheese and seeing what interactions we could get
rabbit what a cool video! omg i remember triying out a lot of this pulls when they were discovered, the sylvanus one specially brings me so much nostalgia lmao. Amazing content as always and congrats on the record!
Good job with the video. I was getting SummoningSalt vibes near the end.
Honestly, completely loved the outro. It's that sincerity that means the most. ♥️ Keep up the great work. You deserve all great things.
This was SO fun to watch!! Absolutely amazing job 👏 💖
your videos are so good, nice record too!!!, it was good seeing brutal maglini time, i used to watch them some years ago:)
This kind of Summoning Salt’s like videos are always the best. Keep doin this man, great work ! You’ll get the recognition you deserve
Had this video recommended to me by yt, haven’t watched smite videos in a long while but boy was it worth it. You could probably make a rock throwing contest look interesting with those editing skills. Tip of the hat to ya and the guys who helped ya, liked & subscribed.
Absolutely incredible video mate 🥃 hooked start to finish , great work 🔥
Thank you for putting in all that work! This video was incredible
you find some of the highest quality videos on this channel. always happy to see a new video from you pop up
The sheer wholesomeness that was between you guys, coming together and putting a huge dent in gaming history, absolutely priceless
I freaking loved this video!! Amazing job with production!!
Amazing video. very well put together and loved every minute of it
That's one of if not the most quality smite content there is honestly
Although I found it late, I'm so glad I stumbled upon this gem of a channel. Such high quality Smite content, something I am so foreign to. Usually just all commentaries or tutorials, fantastic! Keep it up, please.
Bro, this vid was great! I haven't seen anything this elaborate about Smite in quite some time. Congrats on the record!
Even though I don't play Smite anymore channels like you and BMT still bring a smile to my face remember the fun times I had with the game.
You went crazy on the production here. This is interesting af
such a well put together video, love smite content but I didn't once think about looking away because I didn't want to miss anything in it.
I"m normally more of a lurker but I can't believe you found a clip of me and a friend doing that Horus and Ares pull and put it in your montage. I remember brainstorming it as possible but didn't know if it would work, luckily it did. Never thought it show up in one of your videos though, thanks for sparking the memories and the content Rabbit!
It is currently 5:51 am I need to be up in less than 3 hours and this video had me engaged through and through. Amazing editing, storytelling, VIDEO!!!
Loved to see this, hella impressive and creative thinking here, great freaking job
your videos always manage to impress me, so nice seeing these high effort videos being made for smite.
Bro why tf is a smite vid giving me chills rn 😆 great content bro keep at it
This is awesome, so glad you're on the team now
That was a surprisingly good video, great job!
This had a summoning salt feel to the video… this was fantastic!!! Great vid!
Amazing video! Subscribed, liked, Shared! Keep it up. It's awesome to see this kind of stuff in the smite community.
What an insane video. The quality of your content is just top notch. Keep it up homie!
I have never played or really known much about smite, that being said this was a great video, and I'm happy to have had it pop up in my feed. Liked, commented and subbed :) looking forward to more videos
Dude you're such a good storyteller. Thank you for the great vid!!
Why did i watch the entire video, and why is the production this good? GJ man props to you!
Thank you guys. Thank you for the work, the research, the quality content. Thank you. You are smite Legends
So incredibly wholesome to see that last credit if BMT + Innocent Rabbit on that timeline for the pullback record.
Its like something from mythical history, when the shitposters answered the call of allegiance to come to the aid of the number nerds! Legendary alliances made on the Battleground of the Gods!
Technically, without counting the very last one, we could've in theory reach the maximum possible record if we added anhur into the Maui ares combo to push them to the back of their own fountains
Absolutely awesome vid, I had some clue what you were doing until the end. That was crazy.
dude the effort and creativity on that last setup big kudos
The amount of effort put into it is mind-blowing. Great job.
What an incredible effort. Hats off to you all.
You are a gem, your content is legendary. Thank you for your service!
I haven't even played Smite actively in years but still, your videos slap hard, still subscribed and still, I enjoy these very much.
Love the Summoning Salt style video!
Wow bro. Top tier editing and storytelling. The kind of content I aspire to make! Amazing video
This video was incredible man. I was fully engaged from beginning to end
That game will never cease to amaze me...
Good job guys, that was such a fun content to watch !
Great video and great work!!
I just started playing Smite again after 8 years and then this video gets recommended to me. Undoubtedly the best Smite video of all time!
Great video man
Allways happy to see ya upload fam =D You doing gods work with these!
incredible video. production was top notch and i literally giggled like a child while i watched.
Your videos are always great, everytime a new one comes out it surprises me.
This is rad, thanks for sharing.
Love the videos! Your like the FitMC of Smite! Please make more videos like this!!
This video was fire, as a long time smite player. The theories and challenges you guys had. 10/10 vid ong Nocap
I love videos like these. A niche subcommunity in a game dedicated to doing some of the most ridiculous shit imaginable. Whether it's finding glitches to speedrun or like the pulling in this video, it always warms my heart seeing the progression and the pure joy that comes out of successful execution.
I've been eagerly waiting for this video ever since the cameo.
This is REALLY fucking good dude, I enjoyed this a lot!
Love it bud! We need to have you on the podcast
super well edited video, great story
Dude, it was fun seeing the work you put into breaking a record in a game within confines of it's abilities. And it was extra fun that you guys were like "Wait, what if we KEPT teleporting to up the record further?" If I was the unwitting anon being dragged all over the map, tbh I wouldn't even be mad. I'd laugh and be glad I got to be a part of it
Awesome content. That was wild!
Cheers from Brazil!
i freakin love videos like these. this video took 10 years long to make if you really think about it. it took that first record pull for this video to even be an idea which is so dope in my opinion. loved it!
Always love your uploads well done!
All I could think about during the full map pulls was that there is no limit on it being a straight line. glad you saw that too! congrats on the record
Years ago watching your channel got me into smite it’s always a treat when I see you upload
Beta tester and still a big Smite fan here. I was on the edge of my seat the entire video. Well done and congratulations!
You're effin insane bro. Gotta love it !
8:42 my good friend pike made those videos :D soo proud he made it into a innocentrabit video :D
Great vid mate

Loved every moment of this video my man.
Wow I remember watching your joust pullback in 2014. But this video.... this is art man ;D

I love watching the limits pushed on any game. Such a nice video
