Ganga Jamuna Tehzeeb - Peace Through Poetry Part 1

This program is based on my book Poetry and Emotions on Celluloid: Role of Hindi Film Lyricists (Rubric Publishing New Delhi). Ganga Jamuna Tehzeeb is the fusion and beauty of the Hindu-Muslim culture.
Our Hindi Film lyricists have displayed these sentiments in their poetry and thoughts since the start of the industry. In this first part, we celebrate lyricists such as Bulle Shah, Ravindra Rawal, Sahir Ludhianvi, Shakeel Badyuni and Prasoon Joshi!
We were honoured to have messages from Professor Dr. Javed Iqbal (surgeon and a great motivational speaker from Pakistan) who is also my Rakhee brother and Dr. Bina Biswas (of Rublic Publishing and a great supporter of my book).
Last but not least, we have beautiful and soulful performances by Padmashri Ahmed Hussein Sahab and Mohammed Hussein Sahab (great Ghazal Singers, singing Man Tarpat Hari Darshan Ko Aaj), Mrs. Madhulika Saran, Chitra, Charushree, Madhavi, and Rehman Ali (a sweet and melodies singer who has performed in Indian Idol)!
Please join me, my sister Dr. Mitra Saxena, and Akram Hussein (grandson of my music Ustad Abdul Shakoor Khan Sahab) as we celebrate unitedness through music and poetry!
