I am stuck in my house in Buffalo, New York , need to go to work. My car 🚘 is fully buried under snow. The city of Buffalo has only 60 trucks to remove snow although we have thousands of small roads and I don’t know when they will come to our area.
To Matt, years ago my high school friend and myself drove out west for a ski trip to Alta Ski Resort, Utah(5 days) and Jackson Hole Ski Resort, Wyoming(3 days). Nine months later when I was in the USAF, I went two ski trips to Colorado. Vail, Snowmass, Aspen Highlands, and Aspen Mountain by myself driving a Vega Gt Station Wagon. When I left the last skiing day at Aspen Mountain I drove all night with no sleep and no breakfast to Altus AFB, Oklahoma like 700 miles away. This was when 55 mph was the national speed limit. Fast forward to my third USAF base assignment, Wurtsmith AFB, Michigan. In one of the Saturday mornings in August, 1976 walking to the chow hall at 8 a.m. it was SNOWING!!! It was melting on the pavement but staying on the grass. I should have went back to my dorm and got my camera to take pictures but I didn't. At 8:30 a.m. it changed over to just rain.
Mi is an interesting place to live & I enjoyed this segment as well
I really think this will be a winter that we will never forget. We have had it pretty easy. It might even break records.

Flagstaff, Arizona gets more snow than this, last year it was 90.1 inches, and it is similar each year !!
Last year grand rapids recorded 110 inches
