As someone who works in the music industry (not in the US) all I can say is that for you to get big you need the following things: great networking and/or to be genuine. A lot of good small artists just hide in the shadows hoping to get recognized one day knowing damn well they don't put enough effort to get themselves on the map. Also, the type of stuff shown in this video is nothing more than good marketing attempts but it should be continuous because if you care enough about the music you put out you should be pushing it as most as possible. The problem with this is that you’re going to lack viewer retention. Sure you might be getting more clicks, but those viewers aren’t going to be coming back. You won’t be building a fan base that are going to anticipate your music.
Ironically this is actually completely incorrect, unfortunately, I’ve done it before back in 2022 and no it really does work and people do not know or care if ur lying even if you make it blatantly obvious. It may not work on you but you’re like the 1% 😭 as long as it gets SEEN it will do well, the problem is if it DOESNT get seen then it won’t work
As someone who saves videos for songs on whatever platform it may be, I do it with the intent of going back later and downloading it as if I don’t, I risk forgetting the song all together. But with more than 1k videos in my saved… I’m procrastinating even downloading the songs I WANT to download…😭 don’t know if all the savers do this, but I have a little feeling they do…

my song popit has a 6.1 stream to listener ratio on spotify since releease and is at 40k streams. i tell people about that stat all the time and thats what makes me beleive you got talent. streams are easy to fake so is everything else besides the ratio! thats why its so important!

Spent $1000/ month on ads & made how much back????? I learned too late that spending money on ads is really the #1 thing to help you compete with clowns online who really don’t take music as seriously as you do, but still go viral.But it won’t guarantee you’ll make money.
