Im new ar this CZcams thing. I normally just watch different things. But I wanted to let you I am far and beyond a fan of yours. I've done nothing but watch your videos for a week straight. And I've learned so much. Im in Florida like you but I live in the panhandle of Florida between Panama City and Pensacola. More well known city is Destin Florida. I've been saltwater fishing for 35 years and never really had the chance to see what it looks like below the surface. Fishing in my dad's little 20ft Key West when I was young we always use to stay away from the wrecks that divers frequently visited because we always thought that divers spooked the fish. But you,,,lol,,you have guided me in a direction where I want to sell my landscape business and come to the Keys. Our bottom here doesn't have nowhere near as much natural bottom. But to keep this short and simple,,,you guys rock. When your down under I feel at peace!!Seriously I've never been diving except for Scallops. Aaron Young i believe you have really out done yourself. Your show with your fishing buddies, "Tipsy" , your wife. Your beautiful home with the little canal and the Mangroves!!! I envy you!! You have my dream and I hope maybe one day it will be mine!! Keep the lines tight, the spears straight, the weather at your feet, and God will do the rest.
another great vid. For a dipping sauce, try equal parts Soya and Black vinegar (asian store). little wasabi mixed in is a good touch as well. It's my favorite dip for steamed dumplings and sashimi.

Great vid - I never got a hoo either. My dream is to find hoo in warm water, Off Texas and La they are here in the winterl At 85 I get hypothermia very easy. I usually get my KF (rig diving) by dropping down near a rig for snapper and if no joy ascend out and away from the reig where the KF circle. So I have to pretend my KF are hoo :) Love hoo steaks on the grill.

Need to shoot a hoo and catch a sword. What is best month to be there in the summer? Wahoo are more of a winter fish correct? Most likely book a day of offshore fishing, a day of offshore spearing and a day of inshore fishing for the entire family ( 4) of us. When I firm some things up I will get back with you.
That’s a big bucket! Haha. But he’s wahoo are winter time. Nov - March. My favorite “summer” month is May because grouper season opens up and there are normally lots of Mahi around! Let me know when ya make plans would love to get ya out!
@@KeyWestWaterman I grew up on the coast of Texas working at a marina and shrimping got my captains license at17 and started taking inshore trips after work. Then moved to offshore trips latter on. Have caught alot of blue marlin a few white marlin tons af sails and tuna ect. Bigest shark was 812 pound tiger off the beach. 12'2 weight was estimated as we tagged her and let her go. Speared lots of ling and amberjack. Few grouper and other stuff but the whoos have eluded me. I have always wanted to catch a sword but you have to run dam near 80 to 100 miles out here to even try. So those two remain ..

Curious why you aren’t a fan of riffe? Never shot a koah and unfortunately most of my arsenal are sea snipers and they don’t make them anymore. Feel free to message me if you want. Would like to hear your thoughts on riffe vs koah. GR Tarr recommended you when I was diving with him up here in NY a few years back. Nice shooting, you have it dialed in down there! Cheers
quality control. I've had customer have so many issues with brand new riffes off the shelf. I know alot of people shoot them. but I've seen several peoples trips across the country ruined because of brand new guns made by riffe. the older ones seemed to be better quality. And GR is an amazing human love that guy!

all depends, have a lot of different spots we target them on, normally some time of structure or color change!
