I lived in France and have visited many times and have always been amazed how you can always get a delicious high quality meal for a price much more reasonable than anything in the US. There’s no way in the world that you can ever get a meal of this quality because Americans prefer quantity over quality. It’s the opposite in France.
Oh yes I think we are very lucky on the quality of ingredients we have !
Every time I come to Paris, the first thing on my list is to get Paris-Brest ! I can eat it every day!!
When Theo mentioned the butter with the garlic and the parsley and then made the motion with his hand of dipping the bread in that delicious sauce.....sometimes a Frenchman can be so right about life!!!

I had a great memory of an April in Paris. But I went during the Great Recession--2008--when the dollar was at an all time low. So, I barely had the opportunity to eat out. Every main course in my neighborhood bistro was 50 dollars!

Oh I'm glad you loved it ! I need to try their crème brûlée but all the desserts I've already tried there were great ! Unfortunately I don't remember the name of the cocktail, it's one of the signature mocktails they have !

I'd scoop up the sauce but skip the escargot.
Even just the sauce is delicious you will love it !
I also what to try to have my meat bleue, Theo but Im not sure if I could pronounce that correctly because it sounds similar to blue in french 😂
Yes it's the same for "blue" in French (we also say Bleu !) and don't worry waiters are used to it you can try your best they will understand !

I love hazelnuts and almonds so both desserts would be good for me. Let me try that in French: J’adore la noisettes et amandes donc les deux desserts bien pour moi. I know that was probably wrong. I will look up Brian’s youtube. Merci.
