- The Crossroads series pays homage to the style and sound of classic instruments from 1930’s America.
Michael Sanden selected the timbers, making the tops a precise measurement so they flex and respond to the players attack. He then braced the instrument with his own patterns to give each guitar its own personality. He wanted to make a guitar that would have the sound that any musician, professional or amateur could appreciate. To make the guitar look authentic to the 1930’s era, Michael added a dark stain to the timbers that we call Whiskey Barrel to make the Crossroads look historic and simply elegant.

A super affordable dreadnought acoustic, the Tanglewood Crossroads looks really cool in it’s rustic satin whiskey barrel burst finish but also sounds pretty good and plays really well considering how little it costs, perfect for beginner and intermediate players.
Specifications-wise, it features a laminate Mahogany top, back and sides, Mahogany neck, 20 fret Tech Wood fingerboard with dot inlays, a Tech Wood bridge with compensated saddle and chrome machine heads.

I didn’t tried Yamaha . But i have a friend who brought a yamaha at this range . I played his guitar . From my perception, Tanglewood spread beautiful tone rather than yamaha and yamaha was heavy in weight

Tanglewood light weight than f310, tcwr matt finish vs f310 glosy . F310 looks premium but i like Tanglewood sound. Now you should choice your options and choose between tcwr and f310 ..
