Maami, I made the thokku in a smaller scale today and it was perfect, the salt and spice were enperfecto, can’t express it any better, makes me feel so glad when things turn out the way they should. As I said in my mail, I made the thakkali thokku yesterday and I hope I don’t have to repeat the way I feel about that, may you live for a long long time
Thank you so much. Amma. Recently, for 2 times, I have been making onion thokku, as per Revathi amma's(Kavinyar veetu samaya) video. One thing different is, she slices the onions and also adds garlic. She adds menthiya podi and kadugu podi. Thank you so much.

I tried this receipe without salt ( as I am on low salt diet)...came out very tasty.. lasted about 3 weeks as all my family decided I should share it and finished it off... Thanks for explaining it just right and saying things like soak the chillies for sometime and cook for 30 mfs...as an amateur cook I don't know when it is done...
My favourite is onion thokku, the same way only I too make...yummy dish aunty 😋, I very much like the way you are explaining, very cuteee...

I saw one of the comments and it was absolutely right, I used to buy the onion thokku from Grand Sweets and Snacks, but when it’s turning out so tasty, I don’t need to go there anymore, life can’t get any better than that
Absolutely 💯 I also ised to buy small onion thokki from Grand sweets on Chennai and also Sambhar powder. But I have learnt to make sambhar powder, pickles from amma. Thank you so much. Amma.

I love her channel and her recipes !! She s my role model for cooking ... Amazing person ...thank you so much . Just one thing i noted ... The ingredients what you show could be for longer so we can make a note . It disappears very quickly and to pause and see is tough as you are cooking . . Also one honest feedback - music is distracting ... actually it would be so much better without. Just quiet background is pleasant.
