- When Mark bought me The Adventure Challenge - Couples Edition book for Valentine’s Day, I knew he and I would have a lot of fun and a lot of laughs completing these 50 challenges together. today is April 29, 2021, 3pm, in Cardston Alberta, I ordered this book unbeknown to my wife and it just came in the mail 1 hour ago. I plan to show her the book when she gets off work. So I thought I would see if anyone has done any videos of a challenge from the book and Ta-DA you two did. it was a fun video. looks like you two had a good time. We are a bit older by, oh, several years older than you two are and I bought the book hoping it would spike some fun into our marriage. will post back how she reacted to this book, not sure she would even be willing to try a date from the book.

First off, I LOVE you as a couple and how much fun you have with this--even tho your husband at first looks like he's sometimes just "rollin with it" LOL! Anyway, I have a question: did you ever have problems with using the round orange thing to scratch off the challenges? I have read tons of bad reviews how they had to scratch so hard to remove the gray stuff that the pages shredded or completely took off the writing to where they couldn't even read it.
Thanks so much! I’m pretty sure Mark’s whole mentality in our marriage is that he is just “rolling with it.” 😂😂😂😂 But we sure do have a lot of laughs together, that’s for sure.
We now have purchased three different Adventure Challenge books-the Couples version, Family version, and In Bed version, and we’ve never had an issue with scratching off the challenges before! That’s so strange to hear it’s an issue for some people. Especially because our kids scratch off the boxes for the Family challenge and the kids never have a problem with it either. Either the people having that issue are scratching way too hard or not hard enough is my guess. If you’ve ever done a Lottery scratcher card, it’s basically the same thing, so maybe it’s because we’ve had practice here in Missouri. Your laugh makes ME laugh and your husband's dry/"what have I got myself into" sense of humor also makes me laugh even harder!! Keep doin what you're doin tho cuz it seems to be working. You both look so happy together! So the reviews I read were mostly from either BBB and Amazon. I was about to order the Couples version along w/the camera for our daughter and SIL's anniversary but after reading that I got scared. Also on BBB was a lot of shipping issues like they either never got the item or it took forever to get and tons of call/emails. Soooo, yeah I was a little leery after that. But I LOVE this concept and think it's an awesome change from the mundane dinner and movie scenario--that gets old after a while! These ideas are definitely out-of-the-box and definitely elicits communication for sure!! Thank you so much for your kind response! :)
