Thank you for catching up with Brendan. I wonder from time to time how he along with the family members are doing. Keep strong, Brendan, and God bless every one of those fallen heroes.

You can still see the pain in the man's eyes. I'm truly happy for him to find peace. His mission is now keeping his memories of his brothers alive.

My son and I were watching that fire from our trailer in Congress Arizona not knowing 19 would give their lives fighting that fire. Watching this made me cry all over again! RIP to those that lost their lives and God bless you Brad for being a victim of the aftermath, God be with you as well!!

What a traumatic thing to go through and it’s understandable that he went off the rails. However, he is giving back hope to others and he’s a survivor. ❤

I saw the last CZcams video about how they are using fire tents that are of old technology while NASA has fire proof materials that can withstand 5000 degrees temperatures. These Hotshots need far better protections so that no matter what temperature this fire fighters have to face they can survive. Maybe with better satellites they can track the fires and give the firemen better warning, but still there are so many variables when it comes to fires that you can count on all of them.

One of the sad things is this fire was a perfect storm of circumstances. The heat and humidity of the air, the dryness of the terrain, and the conditions of the fire itself were just right for the fire to actually whip up its own weather system, which drove it far faster than anyone expected. This doesnt happen often, but if the circumstances are just right, its deadly.
All we can do is wish it never happened, and remember our fallen Hotshots as they deserve

A dry lightning bolt caused the fire. The winds sped up the fire.

Come on now Brendan, you heard everything on your GMHS Crew Net radio. EVERYTHING! You know what really happened and why on June 30, 2013, with the several rogue firing operations and EM threatening Steed to bring the Crew down the hill. How much longer are you going to continue to live the lie to all of us. Give yourself grace and the permission to honor the men that died that day - your Brothers - and tell the truth, to be a man and a Father. And a real Hot Shot Brother.
