Almost the exact recipe I use...but instead of flour I used instant oatmeal that I've ground fairly fine. I always make a huge batch and the overage goes in vacuum bags in the freezer. They freeze and thaw REALLY nicely!!
I was thinking I bet I can use oat flour. I’m happy you said you tried it so I won’t feel like I’m experimenting lol
What about almond or coconut flour? Will either one of those work? One of my rescue pups has a wheat allergy.
I just didn’t like the idea of wheat flour, oatmeal sounds perfect.
and peanut butter with no other ingredients. No sugar etc.

Those look amazing, will try to make some for my pups, using chicken broth (one is allergic to beef).
A warning for humans: Make sure your peanut butter is not "sugar-free", many of those contain Xylitol which is deadly for dogs - even in small amounts.
Good to know! I remember one time I bought some sugar free maple syrup since I'm diabetic and need to watch my sugars, well I thought that would be a great option but OMG...I painted the toilet unnatural shades we'll just say. Xylitol seems to have a negative effect on humans too :(
And it's not great for humans.

Yep, been hearing that pumpkin is a natural de-wormer. Lucky pups right there. I agree, rescue dogs seem to know that their people wanted to give them a better existence (a life), and seem to appreciate their people more.

😍😍😍😍🐶🐶🐶🐶 My Beagle ended up having food allergies to practically everything, so I started making her dog biscuits for her. I used wheat flower, smooth peanut butter, apple sauce, and milk. She loved them! And they were made from healthy ingredients she could have. Thanks for doing a doggy biscuit recipe!

Perfect timing! My girls will love these. Just reminding your folks not to use diet peanut butter with xylitol AKA birch sugar. This artificial sweetener can be fatal to dogs.

I’m so glad you made this! My little pomeranian is a rescue, she is 14 now, and has deteriorating joint disease, so she having trouble with her hips. She’s going to love these treats!

Thank you cowboy Kent 😘. My daughter works for a veterinarian clinic and dog spa 😂. It's really called a boarding resort. We actually have 7 dogs all together and they are all rescue dogs. I'm their Nanny and they really do act like my fur grandbabies. They bring us so much joy. I'm kinda home bound and I would be so lonesome without them. All they want is your love and affection and they give back so much love to me. Please, everyone check out the shelter.

My first thought watching this was “this is good and I’ll watch it, but I don’t keep wheat flour and creamy PB so I’ll never make these.” But today my pup had her teeth cleaned and found a little gum disease. Also four teeth extracted. Her mouth is gonna be sore awhile and she’s not gave her hard biscuits for a week. Soooo… I’m gonna go shopping and make these in the “soft” version. Perfect timing Kent, for this recipe!

I love your channel, especially how you love your dogs. I have three dogs and a cat, all rescues.
I cook every week for my doggos. I boil chicken breast carrots and potatoes sometimes I add peas or a sweet potato or rice. I dice the carrots potatoes and chicken breast. That’s my Yorkie’s and Eskimo’s meal. No commercial bought dog food.
Oh My Goodness! Our two pups love these homemade biscuits! We think they ask to go outside just so they can turn around and come back in and get their “good dog” treat!

My little Buddy was the best thing I EVER had in my life.... He never left my side for 13 1/2 years... He is in heaven now and with my parents who also loved him dearly.... Rest in Peace Buddy..... and yes.... please if you can be a good dog or animal parent please do so and adopt today.... keep them with you, keep them safe, keep them inside.... they feel cold and hot just like you .... Thanks Kent for the biscuit recipe, I’m sure my four legged fur angle Emmy will love them. I’d also like to tip my hat to you as well for mentioning animal rescues to find your angel. My Emmy was a rescue from a terrible for fighting organization and she was not only the breeder but later was the bait. Horrible I know but once she began to trust again, she is just the most loyal pitty you can ever have. Thanks again, and going to try it for sure.

I love this video. It couldn’t have come at a better time. We were looking for a rescue dog for my husband who has Aspergers. His dog died a year and a half ago and it was the saddest thing I’ve ever seen. My husband has the biggest heart! Anyway, I was looking at rescue dogs and found a Great Pyrenees who had a very traumatic first year in life. We met him and it was an amazing fit. He comes home with us in a few days and I’m so excited to have these healthy yummy 😋 treats as a warm welcome for him to our homestead. I have read that some peanut butters contain Xylitol as an ingredient. It's a big no-no for dogs and can be fatal even in smaller doses. Just wanted to mention so you can check that your goodies will be super safe for your fur-babies.
