Hamidi Addicted Intense is a good contender for well rounded scent, however it is alcohol free, so the projection suffers. I recently got a tester for creed Asbolu... it's very nice indeed but £4 per 1ML

Have you ever tried pineapple vintage emperor? its an amazing clone with great quality the perfumers focus on making it just like old batches of aventus, i dont have cdnim LE to compare the 2 but i think PV would be closer try it and let us know please. 🙏🏾
Hi mate, yes I did buy a bottle about 3 years ago, it's strange as I bought a sample card first and loved it, then I bought a 50ml bottle and it wasn't the same for some reason, it almost had a dirty sweet accord added to it. I did a bit of research and a few others had the same experience with the FB not being the same as the sample, maybe it was a bad batch. Il have to grab another bottle and check it out 👌👍
Hello there Chris have you got your nose on any of the pinapple vintage from Parfums vintage They are a little pricey but they have various versions as I guess they have cloned various batches and I must say the few that I have tried are pretty frickin Stella 👍🏾

Apparently others had had a similar issue and it was just a bad batch but I do hear very good things about there range nowadays, I will pick another one up very soon 😉 👌
I totally agree with you that the CDNIM LE is excellent in the way that it captures the organic elements and richness of the older Creed Aventus batches... And it is long lasting.. I bought a 2023 bottle of Aventus and it really does lack in complexity, potency and longevity. The bottle that I bought from John Lewis is basically a skin scent after 2 hours max. It is very light and pink peppery with much softer pineapple than before.. The woody smokiness is long gone leaving it with a very linear and short lasting dry down. The Limited edition that you cover here is a superb stand in for the older and much better batches of Aventus.. I find that Mont Blanc Explorer has its own twist but at the same time smells similar to the newer Aventus, and to my nose,.. better and bolder than the modern Aventus, thus making it the ideal alternative if you like the modern batches.. And yes the CDNIM LE does get even better over time with maturation...The dry down really does opens up and transforms very well the longer it wears.
Hi Paul, yes I agree totally about the new batches of Aventus, I popped into my local John Lewis a while back and sampled a 2023 (I didn't bother checking all the batch info but it was defo 23) and I got the pink pepper and a very light pineapple, I checked out the tester strip about 4 hours later and it was virtually gone! The latest batch I bought was a 19No1 which tbf was ok, quite citrus heavy in the opening and sweet woods dry down but nothing to really write home about 😀 . Tbf to Creed they were really hit by ingredients being banned such as raw pineapple, tar etc. To keep charging the same prices is daylight robbery though. CDNIM LE is a really good flanker for it, the best hands-down I've come across, and I agree totally that it has got better with maceration, coming very close to the 2016/17/18s. I've got a bottle of the new contender for the Aventus throne coming later this week from a good mate of mine to review, Insidious by Insider Perfumes, apparently it copies the older batches 😳 let's see how this new kid gets on 😀 It will probably be shit but worth checking at least 🤷 👌

Chris, what aventus clone would be best for someone wanting less smoke and good performance? Also which of your cdnim’s has the least smoke/birch? I like the birch as a supporting note and to be there to some degree but more a fan of the strong fruit with the true base of vanilla, ambergris. Have explorer but it isn’t my jam exactly and the performance is crap.
Hi mate, have you tried Mancera Cedrat Boise intense? It is a massive pineapple/bergamont bomb, although a tad creamier than the fizz aventus delivers, a fantastic beast performer too, the dry down is a sweet woods/birch too. CDNIM edt is probably the least smokey and a decent performer too.
The EDP version is probably a good option but needs to mature before it fully smells the best and lasts its full potential , it took my bottle well over 6 months before I started to actually like spraying it, I thought it smelt off compared to my other cdnims I've owned for awhile when I first got it but I guess the armaf brand usually needs all of its products to mature when oxygen enters the bottle
@MackABD yep your absolutely correct their mate. My edp and even the LE both are far better now after a good maceration period. The EDP especially has lost that harsh opening and is much smoother now too, I'm guessing that's down to the quality or handling of the perfumers alcahol that's used.

Let it mature. The more you use it here and there and let the bottle sit in a dark closet for long periods of time it'll improve. You'll get 8-9 hrs off 5 sprays after it fully matures , it's at its strongest probably after a year or so of its first spray and after 30ml is used
@MackABD although I never bought the edt until a month or so ago, It's a 2020/21 and it's pretty decent! Lighter and airer than the others, well worth a purchase if one comes up on ebay m8 👌

Sorry mate my bad, 15y11 is a very balanced batch and generally incredible in every way so closest (from my personal batch experience) to 15x21, my 15u11 is a complete pineapple bomb, beautiful juice 👌. If I could pick one batch to be able to get today it would be my original X21, man that stuff is 🔥
Sprayed on each sleeve, one 13U02 and CDNIM LE. 13U02 - Refined, smooth, airy fruity, with a subtle smell of smoke, can still smell it on my sleeve on the second day. CDNIM LE - Synthetic with a slightly harsh edge (way better than EDT), no airy effect and there is more smoke present. Can smell a bit of it on my sleeve on the second day.
Cheers for the comparison mate 👍 I never tried 13U02, the only 13 I had a decant of was the S01 iirc. Obviously nothing will ever beat the grail years batches of Aventus, they just can't use all the ingredients they use too, birch, tar, raw pineapple etc My LE use to have a bit of a synthetic air off the opening but it really seems to of settled down now, maceration certainly seemed to help out with it 😀 👍
@players02 I think I've had it now for 10 months, I've used about 20ml I'd say, I tend to use it in conjunction with the edp if I'm using it as a daily as the dry downs work pretty well together being that there from the same family👍

You want The Merchant of Venice - Venetian Blue. The regular silver cap, not intense with black cap.
