We have not had this kind of player who is not afraid of tackles in Liverpool for a while! He will be very valuable to our set up. Welcome to LFC, if it can be done.
Goes to ground too often for me. Looks a very good player but if he's doing slide tackles that often in the PL he'll give away a lot of pens.
I'm paraphrasing Maldini here, and it's something Van Dijk has said he believes too. "If I have to make a slide tackle, I've already made a mistake"
I'd welcome him with open arms but I hope he works on his positioning so he doesn't have to make last ditch tackles

Making a lot of slide tackles isn’t always a positive though. Goes to the ground to quickly and as soon as your on the ground you’re no longer defending. In the prem playing against better players they’ll easily get past you or you’ll make lots of fouls. Lots of world class defenders already said this aswell!

Both him and Gimenez have been seen in the Spurs stadium on the NLD, would be massive if we can sign both, we need a few top signings this summer, and they definitely are top.

The exact kind of player who we have to get in as a DM. Strong,physical,quick, has very good ball skills, has good feet ( if y’all understand that term). We can’t win at the highest level with players like Hendo. He’s a decent player but not the type that should be looked at as a finishing piece
I do hope man united show interest in signing him instead of frimpong. I feel geertruida is a cheaper alternative to frimpong and the perfect replacement for wan bissaka if we sell him or do a swap deal with geertuida.

Media think Slot will bring him to Liverpool. Looks excellent on this video but its a huge step up to the premier league. The teams at the top of the Dutch league wouldn't finish in the top 10 of the premier league. Players are faster and more technical. Too many players from the Dutch league fail. Obviously exception like Suarez and Van Nistlrooy. Bergkamp failed to make the grade in Italy strangely but was fantastic in the Premier League so its not a perfect science, but Liverpool do a huge amount of analysis on players they are interested in. We probably only sign 2% of the players we analyse. But if we can get this lad for a good price then its worth a gamble. We'd make some back on a transfer to Palace or Brighton if he doesn't make the grade.

Always looks good in these video clips…but let’s not forget what League this lads coming from & wanting to move too. He’s 23 which is ideal age & at an age were you’d think he’s ready for such a move & if that’s Liverpool then great. Other plus’s is that Dutch Journalists give this lad really good reviews & if any of the Feyenoord players were to follow Slot then Geertruida is that #1 Feyenoord player to make that move.
