1st Time Overnight Camping Trip On The Black Creek, MS

It was my first time sleeping in a tent overnight and paddling a canoe so we made a lot of noob mistakes but that was the point of this trip to get our feet wet literally and see how we can improve for the next adventure.
Our original trip was Brooklyn landing to Janice landing (10 miles) but due to the water level the guide recommended we start at Moody's landing and end at Cypress Creek. After an extremely hot first day we decided we would only do Moody's landing to Janice landing (5 miles) and we still had a great time and are looking forward to our next adventure.
This trip was the reset I desperately needed now its time to dig deep and get back to training.
